Project Analyst, Integration
BioMed Realty is looking for a strategic professional to perform analysis in connection with complex acquisitions and dispositions of properties for life sciences and technology office, laboratory, and R&D projects. In this role, you’ll lead due diligence, coordinate real estate closings, and ensure seamless property integration into our growing portfolio. This position offers a hybrid work model, which includes 4 days in office and 1 day remotely. Hybrid work may be modified based on the needs of the company.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the team to develop, oversee, and analyze data collection and due diligence processes for complex real estate transactions, ensuring seamless execution from initial review through closing and post-closing integration
- Maintain and manage workflow of transactions through transaction checklists and the collection and distribution of information
- Engage vendors, draft contracts and process invoices, and manage vendor communications
- Contribute to process improvements and efficiencies
- Track delivery of diligence and other third-party real estate reports
- Review, analyze and understand title, survey, environmental, property condition, zoning and other customary third-party real estate diligence reports
- Perform analysis of due diligence information and prepare reports of findings
- Set up, manage and maintain data rooms, files, materials, information, schedules and related data – both physical and electronic
- Co-manage transactional due diligence process and communication with counterparties and internal working groups
- Perform related duties and other ad hoc projects for the Company, as assigned by supervisor
- Maintain compliance with company policies and procedures
Job Specifications
- One to four years of experience in real-estate related or transactional project management, such as management and performance of due diligence processes and facilitation of transaction closings
- BA/BS, or equivalent combination of education and additional experience, required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) as well as Smartsheet
- Ability to structure, analyze and summarize and synthesize data
- Ability to effectively manage calendars, data rooms and document files
- Ability to effectively coordinate execution and delivery of documents and assist with real estate closings
- Organized and task-oriented, able to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with multiple deadlines, and adapt readily to changing priorities
- Excellent written and oral communication skills with ability to convey technical information in a clear and concise manner
- Ability to self-initiate activities, coordinate tasks, and manage projects with strong attention to detail and follow-up
- Excellent people skills and the ability to build and maintain positive, supportive working relationships and work in a team environment
- Ability to maintain an approachable, friendly demeanor, work with competing priorities and demands, think critically, take guidance and work independently and effectively with staff members and senior executives
- Ability to diagnose, determine root cause and problem solve issues, multi-task, prioritize effectively
- Must possess the flexibility and responsiveness to work with diverse work styles
- Ability to effectively communicate with senior leadership, outside counsel and vendors, other departments, and corporate sponsors
- Requires strong verbal and written communication skills
- Be approachable, positive, and collaborative to ensure effective relationships and a team-oriented workplace
Salary: $78,000 - $97,500 per year + bonus + benefits
