Graduate - Oxford Edge

- Do you want to play a key role in transforming the entrepreneurial ecosystem at the University of Oxford?
- Are you looking for a role that combines hands-on operational experience with the opportunity to support the next generation of innovators?
If this sounds like you, we would love to hear from you! We are looking to hire a high-energy, entrepreneurial, and value-adding graduate to join Blenheim Chalcot, a leading global venture builder, to help run a new Centre for Entrepreneurship and Innovation in Oxford.
ABOUT THE CENTRE:
Oxford Edge is a groundbreaking initiative led by Christ Church (a constituent college of the University of Oxford) with support from Blenheim Chalcot. Located at 37 St Giles, the Centre is designed for students across the University of Oxford. Its goal is to educate and inspire them on entrepreneurship and innovation, bridging academic knowledge with practical applications.
As a Graduate in this role, you will be vital to the Centre's success. You will act as a point of liaison between Christ Church, the Oxford student community, and Blenheim Chalcot, ensuring the smooth running of initiatives aimed at inspiring future entrepreneurs.

At Blenheim Chalcot we use our knowledge, expertise and infrastructure to create an innovation ecosystem which enables our people to turn disruptive ideas into innovative businesses. We originate the ideas ourselves, grow them from the ground up and take them through to exit. We build enterprise Software as a Service (SaaS) products, powered by Generative AI and target industries which are exposed to market, regulatory or technology discontinuities. We have built businesses across the following sectors:
- Financial Services
- Education
- Media and Marketing
- Public Services and Health
- Sports
Our track record has seen us build over 60 businesses over the last 25+ years, with portfolio revenues of over £500m, £600m of equity raised into the portfolio and assets under management of £1.8bn.
Blenheim Chalcot has three global locations, London, Mumbai and Austin with over 3,000 employees. Portfolio companies are headquartered from Scale Space, London, our 200,000 ft² collaboration space which was built as a joint venture with Imperial College London. Our Mumbai offices provide unparalleled scaling capability and technical expertise, and our U.S. operation in Austin powers the go-to-market activities of the portfolio across North America. We are excited about the future opportunity that GenAI technologies present, and believe, given our experience, innovation ecosystem and current market presence, that we are uniquely positioned to take advantage of these opportunities.
THE GRADUATE OPPORTUNITY:
This is a unique variation of our standard Graduate Programme. While you will be based in Oxford, you remain a core part of the Blenheim Chalcot family. You will gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment, balancing strategic support with the essential operational duties required to get a new Centre off the ground.
Your Core Responsibilities in Oxford: To ensure the success of this new Centre, we need someone proactive and organised who is comfortable with a diverse range of tasks, including:
- Operations & Front-of-House: Supporting the day-to-day operations of the Centre, including scheduling, logistics, and managing resources. You will support the management of the physical premises at 37 St Giles, working with facilities teams and acting as the welcoming face of the Centre.

- Student Engagement: Helping to promote the Centre’s programmes to the student community, fostering participation and enthusiasm.
- Centre Administration: Handling administrative duties such as maintaining records, preparing reports, and managing correspondence.
- Liaison: Acting as a point of contact between Christ Church, the wider University of Oxford community, and Blenheim Chalcot.
Your Development with Blenheim Chalcot: Even though you are based in Oxford, you will be enrolled onto Blenheim Chalcot's Career Development Framework.
- BC Adventurers: You will be enrolled on a 15-month intensive cross-portfolio development programme.
- Innovation Ecosystem: You will be part of a cohort of high-potential BC colleagues and have access to the wider innovation ecosystem.
