The Role
As a Database Consulting Services Specialist, you will guide nonprofits in the best practice use of their CRM and support them as they strategically work towards their fundraising goals. You’re a Bloomerang CRM expert with additional experience in nonprofit fundraising. You’ll work directly with nonprofits to develop strategies that help them make an actionable plan for their fundraising goals.
What You Will Do
- Use your product and nonprofit knowledge to execute consulting tasks in a timely manner with high accuracy.
- Guide a full portfolio of nonprofits as they engage in utilizing their CRM to think strategically about fundraising and database management.
- Take an active role in mentoring the team in the development of the overall consulting curriculum, webinars, or one-to-many sessions on all consulting topics.
- Strategically work with your portfolio of nonprofits on their fundraising goals by recommending options to assess their knowledge gaps and potential learning paths.
- Maintain high satisfaction ratings from the nonprofits in your portfolio.
- Work with Customer Success to nurture a high retention percentage of the nonprofits in your portfolio.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest for the Bloomerang CRM product.
- Respond to team and client communications in a timely manner.
- Manage and maintain a variety of software tools that interact with your calendar, email, and our CRM systems.
- Set and achieve professional development goals, including possible additional certification in the area of consulting or nonprofit skills.
What You Need to Succeed
- 2+ years of professional experience working with non-profit organizations, CRMs, fundraising, facilitation, and development
- Knowledge of industry and fundraising best practices
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills to assess customer consulting needs and recommend solutions
- Advanced knowledge of coaching/consulting processes and procedures.
- Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal skills - to include formal presentation, coaching, and consultation.
- Exceptional internal and external customer service skills and ability to communicate effectively
- Proven experience in creating and delivering strategic programs in multiple modalities, using variety of technologies
- Ability to consistently meet goals and objectives
Nice to Haves But Not Required
- Certified Fundraising Executive (CFRE)
- National Association of Nonprofit Organizations & Executives (NANOE) Credentialling ( CNE, CDE, CNC)
- Experience using Salesforce

Compensation
The salary range for this position is: $69,000 - $86,000. You may also be eligible for a discretionary bonus. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent on your skills, experience, qualifications, and location, as well as applicable employment laws.
Location
This is a permanent, full-time, fully remote position. Employees living in Indianapolis, IN are welcome to work from our company headquarters. We do not offer Visa sponsorship or relocation assistance at this time.
