The Role
As the Manager of Conversion Engineering, you will be responsible for overseeing the engineering process relating to our customer data conversions and leading a team of talented Conversion Engineers. Your primary focus will be to ensure your team effectively supports the overall client conversion journey. Strong proficiency in C# and GoLang programming is a fundamental requirement for this role, as you will be actively involved in working with your team to design, develop, and improve code solutions used during the conversion process as well as serving as an escalation path for issues that arise.
What You Will Do
- Lead and manage a team of conversion engineers to ensure successful, accurate, and on-time delivery of data conversion projects.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Conversion Project Managers, Conversion and Onboarding Leadership, Engineering, and Product development, to drive successful deployment of conversion projects.
- Work closely with Conversion Project Management leadership to understand their unique business needs and translate them into technical requirements.
- Design, develop, and test custom code solutions using C# and GoLang programming languages to meet client conversion specific requirements.
- Conduct code reviews and provide guidance to the conversion engineering team to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and provide timely resolutions during the conversion process.
- Continuously monitor and improve the conversion process to enhance efficiency and client satisfaction.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies related to conversion engineering and share knowledge with the team.
- Proactively manage team projects and identify risk before it becomes a critical blocker.
What You Need to Succeed

- Technical Excellence: You are proficient in C# and GoLang, with a passion for designing, developing, and iterating on high-quality code solutions.

- Analytical Problem-Solving: You possess a keen attention to detail and enjoy the challenge of creatively solving complex technical problems.
- Data Literacy: You are comfortable collaborating on data mapping projects involving SQL, Excel, and various database backups.
- Agile Project Management: You have the organizational "muscle" to prioritize competing tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously without losing momentum.
- Collaborative Communication: You can translate complex technical concepts for cross-functional teams and clients alike, ensuring everyone is aligned.

Compensation
The salary range for this position is $87,000 - $110,000. You may also be eligible for a discretionary bonus. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent on your skills, experience, qualifications, and location, as well as applicable employment laws
Location
This is a permanent, full-time, fully remote position (within the U.S. and select Canadian Provinces only). Employees living in Indianapolis, IN are welcome to work from our company headquarters. We do not offer Visa sponsorship or relocation assistance at this time.
