As an Email Deliverability Consultant for Bloomreach Engagement, you'll be at the forefront of our email game, ensuring our messages are delivered, read, and loved by our customers' audiences. The work you do will impact many customers in dozens of different verticals in the e-commerce and retail space globally.  Working in one of our European offices or from home on a full-time basis,  you´ll become a core part of the Deliverability & Product Team.

What challenge awaits you?

We serve more than 450 customers globally, sending 45+ billion emails a year, both transactional & marketing. Email remains a key revenue driving channel in e-commerce and therefore we need to deliver top notch quality. Most of our customers are proudly part of 99% inbox club and the challenge for you will be to keep it that way at scale even with all the new customers we are gaining every quarter.   

Your job will be to:

  1. Master the Inbox:
    1. Take charge of email deliverability, making sure emails outgoing from our platform reach the inbox and not the dreaded spam folder.
    2. Ensure proper monitoring of and alerting on email performance metrics like open rates, click-through rates, and bounce rates are in place and optimize processes for success.
  2. Stay Trendy:
    1. Keep your finger on the pulse of email compliance trends and regulations, such as GDPR, CCPA, Zero trust in email, authentication evolutions, etc.  and make sure our email practices are always up-to-date.
    2. Identify emerging email marketing trends and technologies, ensuring that we're at the forefront of innovation.
  3. Be a Data Detective:
    1. Dive deep into data analytics to identify issues and trends that affect email deliverability.
    2. Collaborate with our email vendors and find solutions to your findings.
  4. Be a Technical Guru:
    1. Implement best practices for email authentication and security.
    2. Work with the services team on best practices guidelines for our customers.
  5. Collaborate with product team:
    1. Collaborate with our product & engineering teams and suggest ideas for features that will drive personalized and effective email campaigns.

 

You have the following experience and qualities:

  1. Professional — experience in email deliverability and inbox placement
  2. Personal — motivation, independence, and fluency in English

Professional experience

  • Experience in marketing automation field 
  • Excellent fluency with data - analytical skills & the ability to use data to generate actionable insights and leverage those insights to resolve problems
  • Tech savviness - the ability to understand complex problems of email scalability globally and have a proven ability to solve for it.
  • At least 3 years of experience in this field
  • Ability to work with customers, challenge them on their practices and influence adoption of models with best practices.

  • Determined - The ability to make difficult decisions and trade-offs and follow through
