Our Global Procurement team aims to provide a best-in-class experience that ensures Bloomreachers get exactly what they need, when they need it, under the best possible terms.
If you have a passion for high-stakes negotiation and are in the business of using agentic AI and automation to "delete" manual work, join Bloomreach as a Strategic Sourcing & Systems Manager. In this role, you will leverage a cutting-edge stack that includes ZIP, Zapier, and LLMs to turn procurement into a true business enabler. You will also help manage and maintain our suite of procurement tools, ensuring our global "follow-the-sun" operation runs flawlessly from Europe.
What challenge awaits you?
The Procurement team is looking for an innovation-first manager to help us transition from excellent turnaround times to "best-in-class." You will adopt the challenge of scaling our global intake and sourcing capabilities by automating away friction. You will build, manage, and optimize reporting and workflows that balance rapid automation with smart risk management. You will then use these tools to dig deep into spend data, ensuring we are always operating at the forefront of procurement technology. At a P3 level, your salary starts from €3000 gross per month with restricted stock units and other benefits included. You can work in one of our Central Europe offices (Bratislava, Brno, Prague) or from home in Central and Eastern Europe on a full-time basis.
Your job will be to:
a. Deliver a Seamless & Competitive Procurement Experience
- Support the global intake lifecycle, ensuring Bloomreachers enjoy a frictionless experience that gets them what they need, exactly when they need it.
- Drive operational velocity by maintaining best-in-class Turnaround Times (TAT), providing the organization with a competitive edge through rapid resource deployment.
- Act as the European anchor for our "follow-the-sun" support model, ensuring proactive partnership and seamless global coverage alongside our US-based team.
- Lead high-impact negotiations for global contracts, securing terms that mitigate risk while actively empowering our teams to move faster.
b. Architect Sourcing & Automation Workflows
- Manage and maintain our core suite of tools, including ZIP, Vendr, Spendhound, and DocuSign.
- Utilize Zapier, N8N, and Agentic AI solutions to automate manual steps in the procurement lifecycle.
- Experiment with and implement ambitious LLM (Claude, Gemini) use cases to improve document processing and stakeholder communication.
c. Partner with the Business on Risk & Strategic Insights
- Cultivate deep partnerships across the organization to gain a thorough understanding of what our teams do and the strategic "why" behind their requirements, enabling us to provide better-aligned and more impactful support.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to define and calibrate the company's risk appetite for various spend categories to match business velocity.
- Design and implement smart compliance parameters within our automated workflows to hit the perfect balance between operational speed and risk management.
- Ensure a consistent global experience across our procurement processes so that every user can navigate their buying journey easily and efficiently.
d. Lead Data-Driven Procurement Innovation
- Take an active role in identifying new ways to collect and analyze spend data using NetSuite and Spendhound.
- Work jointly with our FP&A team to proactively identify budget challenges and opportunities.
- Develop expert-level knowledge of all internal data and business tactics to identify consolidation potential.
- Present performance insights to leadership in a manner that demonstrates procurement's value as a strategic enabler.
Ultimately, your goal is not just to manage contracts, but to build an automated, intelligent procurement engine that scales with Bloomreach’s growth.
Your success story will be:
- In 30 days, you dive right in, becoming familiar with our current ZIP workflows and global intake queue, identifying the first "low-hanging fruit" for automation.
- In 90 days, you have created a prioritized roadmap for AI agents and automation and have already begun executing the first phase of improvements.
- In 180 days, you have automated over 4 distinct manual processes and successfully improved our global TAT by 0.5 working days, becoming an essential part of our global operations.
You have the following experience and qualities:
- Professional — experience in procurement operations and workflow engineering
- Personal — motivation, independence, and fluency in English
Professional experience
- 3–5 years of experience in procurement or sourcing (we value attitude and specific automation experience over years on the clock).
- Hands-on experience with Zapier, N8N, or other agentic AI/automation solutions.
- Strong interest in using LLMs (Claude, Gemini, etc.) to solve complex back-office challenges.
- Experience negotiating SaaS and professional services contracts in a global environment.
- Good to have: Proven experience with ZIP or similar intake-to-orchestration platforms
Personal qualities
- Enjoy working as a service-oriented enabler and taking pride in helping others succeed, understanding that procurement is a supporting role at its heart.
- Energized by variety and motivated by the challenge of working across all categories as a generalist rather than being boxed into one specialty.
- Naturally curious — Take pride in uncovering new findings and solving problems, even those that are complex or may have more than one resolution.
- Take ownership of both successes and failures, with the ability to apply learnings to future projects and the self-organization to navigate through ambiguous situations.
- Fluent in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
