As our products continue to evolve and our customer base grows, we are seeking an experienced Technical Consultant who can lead the technical implementation of our Bloomreach Engagement and Bloomreach Discovery platforms ensuring customer success and delivering value from day one. This role combines the jobs of a technical engineering lead and a consultant. Our Technical Consultants work with both internal and customer teams to guide the technical integrations process, assist with technical problem solving, help manage and prioritize technical issues, assess business risks, and consult on best practices. A strong customer orientation, exceptional collaboration skills, and a solid technical background are key elements for success in this role.

What you'll do:

  • Effectively communicate project requirements with a diverse group of roles within our customer's organization
  • Consulting customers on data architecture, data mapping best practices and recommendations, and leading technical calls as needed
  • Lead the technical integration of our products using web technologies such as Javascript, HTML, CSS, and SQL
  • Help identify, troubleshoot, and address technical risks and issues with web service integrations, from web and mobile front­end issues to back­end performance optimizations
  • Quickly develop a deep understanding of our products and how they can be leveraged to meet customer requirements
  • Use Bloomreach tools and dashboards to demonstrate features to Customers and to provide high level overviews of functionalities available
  • Building out simple marketing automation scenarios in support of Customer use cases, including scenarios to support email warmups
  • Helping our Business Consultants set up more advanced Engagement functionalities (connecting databases, internal apps, setting up web layers, dynamic content personalization, targeted campaigns, etc.)
  • Validate functional discovery, scope, and solution design decisions for product integrations
  • Develop repeatable and scalable processes to improve project quality
  • Work with internal Support teams to resolve account issues on an as needed basis

What you'll bring:

  • Demonstrated experience in service delivery, with strong leadership, organization, communication, and consulting skills
  • Being detail ­oriented, with strong technical problem ­solving and debugging skills
  • BS in Information Systems/Computer Science, or equivalent degree
  • Experience with data imports, data transformations, and data transfers (API, SFTP) is required
  • Frontend coding experience (Javascript – jQuery, HTML, CSS) ideally for a web-based SaaS platform, is required. Backend coding experience (node.js, Python, SQL, BigQuery) is an asset
  • Experience with Tag managers such Google Tag Manager and Tralium is seen as a benefit
  • Experience with either an omnichannel marketing automation and/or CDP platform (Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Adobe Marketing Cloud, Emarsys, Braze, Klaviyo) or a search platform such as Endeca, Solr, Elasticsearch is strongly desired
  • Familiarity with commerce platforms (Shopify, Salesforce Commerce Cloud) is desired but not essential
  • Experience with building out marketing automation use cases and supporting email warmups is desired but not essential
