
Rapid Acquisition Technical SETA, TS/SCI
Description:
Candidate sought to provide on-site program management and technical advisory support of DARPA program. The successful candidate will have strong DoD and IC relationships to facilitate engagements, transitions, and technical alignment. This role encompasses program management functions including coordination, scheduling, writing, and the development of program roadmaps, technology insertion plans, and risk management strategies. The advisor will engage with stakeholders, partners and transition agents for experimentation and operational objectives.
Desired Capabilities and Characteristics:
- DoD or IC Program Management background as a named Program Manager
- M.S. or M.B.A. degree with 25+ years’ experience including 10+ years’ SAP experience
- Deep understanding of the special mission areas across the Services and Combatant Commands
- Demonstrated experience providing on-site support to DARPA programs, including direct support to a DARPA Program Manager
- Proven ability to effectively communicate, coordinate, and navigate DARPA and DoD processes
- Experience in managing all phases of rapid acquisition programs, specifically with the AF Rapid Capabilities Office and Space Rapid Capabilities Office
- Strong organization skills with the ability to multitask and manage rapid-response requests
- Flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities
Responsibilities:
- Conduct technical and programmatic analyses to identify critical technology areas, assess program feasibility, and evaluate technology readiness levels
- Coordinate mission partner and stakeholder engagement across DoD agencies and services
- Manage program transition activities, including driving action items to timely completion
- Develop program roadmaps, technology insertion plans, and risk management strategies
- Support source selection and proposal evaluation activities
- Some travel will be required to support performer, stakeholder, and transition partner engagements
Clearance: Active DoD TS/SCI security clearance is required
