This is a hybrid roleAt Bluevine, we pride ourselves on our collaborative culture, which we believe is best maintained through in-person interactions and a vibrant office environment. All of our offices have reopened in accordance with local guidelines, and are following a hybrid model. In-office days will be determined by location and discipline.

What You'll Do:

  • Use and create data-centric testing methodologies to support Bluevine’s Data teams initiatives.  
  • Work closely with Bluevine’s Data teams to define, develop and maintain test plans and strategies for existing and new projects.
  • Identify and provide feedback on the gap/anomalies in testing requirements, while focusing on improving test automation cover in our products.
  • Responsible for documenting and reporting issues and their resolution, making sure to improve processes with lessons learned from them.
  • Develop automated E2E test scenarios.
  • Help implement and drive automated testing strategies across multiple systems and platforms, focusing on data processes and infrastructure.
  • Work with QA developers, software developers, product managers, devops, security and other core teams to help drive a test strategy based on Agile methodologies and implement best practice.

What We Look For:

  • Bachelor/Masters in Computer Science or related field
  • 5+ years of full-time QA work experience (not including internships, study, personal/school projects) in a fast-paced, data-centric environment.
  • 3+ years of hands-on Python automation development experience (not including internships, study, personal/school projects).
  • Experience using automation frameworks (e.g. Selenium) and CI/CD tools (e.g. Jenkins)
  • Experience with AWS ecosystem and container technology (e.g. Docker, K8S)
  • Exceptional communication skills, ability to collaborate smoothly with and convey complex ideas in a clear way to people of different backgrounds.
  • Knowledge of testing methodologies
  • Experience with writing features/projects Test Plans, and with estimating, prioritizing, planning and coordinating testing activities
  • Proactive, result-driven and multi-tasker; creative but committed to meeting deadlines.
  • Very good English, written and verbal.

Bonus points if you also have:

  • Experience working with Airflow, Sentry, and OpenSeach
  • Experience working Python ML libraries (e.g. Pandas, Numpy, Scikit Learn)
  • Previous knowledge and experience with bug management tracking tools
