About the Team:

At Bluevine, the growth marketing team is dedicated to creating a powerful growth engine to attract and retain profitable high-value customers. By deeply understanding the needs and preferences of small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs), the team works to establish brand awareness and differentiation in the marketplace. Their approach focuses on acquiring, engaging, and growing customer relationships through carefully crafted and optimized campaigns that articulate the unique ways that Bluevine provides small business owners with the funding and financial services they need to succeed. 

The team drives high-velocity acquisition, engagement, and retention efforts within key SMB segments by using data and technology to scale growth efficiently. They implement response-driving strategies across digital channels—such as web, mobile, search, and content—while continually optimizing the customer journey to enhance onboarding, monetization, and cross-sell opportunities. About The Role:

The Paid Digital team at Bluevine is looking for an innovative and results-driven marketer to lead and scale our performance marketing campaigns across paid social, digital display, and online video advertising channels.  This Performance Marketing Manager, Paid Digital will be the go-to expert on paid social and digital display/video, responsible for developing, managing, and optimizing campaigns across Meta, YouTube, LinkedIn, CTV, GDN and more. This role is a hands-on, individual contributor position within the Growth Marketing Team. They will collaborate with the Marketing team and cross-functionally to ensure campaigns are optimized for results while balancing volume and CAC.

What you'll do:

  • Manage and optimize performance marketing campaigns, including developing and executing campaign launches, managing automated bid strategies, and utilizing new and emerging best practices.Drive short, medium, and long-term workstreams to test and optimize creatives and content for evergreen campaigns and product or campaign expansions.
  • Leverage audiences and retargeting lists to enhance the effectiveness of campaigns.
  • Oversee paid digital budgets to ensure media investment is allocated correctly and efficiently to deliver maximum value to the business.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with other channels to understand performance impacts and leverage tactics to influence demand.
  • Utilize strong analytical skills to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Plan, develop, and implement new paid search strategies to drive site traffic and generate qualified leads, with a focus on improving CAC and scaling conversion volume.
  • Communicate regularly with stakeholders to discuss performance, goals, and deliver results.
  • Ensure accurate conversion tracking and attribution through data quality assurance (QA).

What we look for: 

  • 5+ years of experience in a performance marketing role, with an emphasis on paid social and digital video/display channels
  • Paid search experience is a plus
  • Experience at technology or financial services companies a plus 
  • Deep understanding of digital ad platforms (Meta Ad Manager, Google Ads, Microsoft Advertising, LinkedIn Ads; experience with CTV and programmatic/DSPs a plus)
  • Proactive and forward thinking; raises questions on assignments, contributes to the optimization of campaigns, and shares ideas
  • Highly effective communicator who interacts with clarity and purpose, proactive, and has experience interacting at all levels of the organization
  • Ability to present analysis and supporting logic to senior management
  • Passion for Bluevine, its mission, and experience marketing to small businesses
  • Bachelor's Degree required / Advanced Degree preferred

New Hire Base Salary Range: $101,100-$121,300
This role is also eligible to earn annual performance-based incentive compensation in the form of a cash bonus.
