About the Role:
The People Operations Associate will support all operational aspects of the employee lifecycle to ensure a seamless and engaging experience for our employees. This role supports key programs and processes including onboarding, offboarding, employee experience and engagement initiatives, immigration administration, and performance management cycles. The role also supports the execution of company-wide people programs such as our volunteer program, Bluevine Cares, and other initiatives and events. In addition, the People Operations Associate provides tactical support for the Jersey City office, partnering closely with onsite building staff to maintain an efficient and employee-friendly work environment.
What You’ll Do:
- Handle onboarding processes end-to-end, including documentation, employee profile setup, IT coordination, and leading new hire orientation to ensure a smooth and engaging start for new employees.
- Facilitate offboarding processes to ensure compliance, consistency, and a smooth transition for departing employees.
- Manage immigration administration in partnership with external counsel to ensure compliance and timely processing.
- Provide operational support for performance management cycles, including reporting, communications, and logistics.
- Maintain HRIS data integrity, run reports, and assist with system administration.
- Support the Hiring Committee process, including headcount tracking, administrative support, and opening roles for the recruiting team
- Lead onsite engagement, employee experience, and office operations by coordinating programs and activities that foster connection and culture—such as the office lunch and snack program, happy hours, and volunteer initiatives—while managing vendor relationships, office communications, and coordination with building management to ensure a seamless workplace experience.
- Act as a point of contact for employee inquiries related to HR programs and onsite operations.
- Collaborate with office operations counterparts globally to ensure alignment, consistency, and partnership across locations.
What We Look For:
- 2+ years of experience as an HR generalist and/or in People operations or office operations roles
- Experience with immigration administration strongly preferred
- Strong customer service orientation with the ability to build positive relationships and interact effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders
- Proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides)
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills

New Hire Base Salary Range: $75,000 - $90,100.
