THE OPPORTUNITY 

 

We are seeking a strategic and visionary Product Owner to join our Product team at a pivotal time of growth and transformation. Reporting directly to the Chief Product Officer/ Senior Director of Product, this role will serve as a catalyst for agile evolution, AI product integration, and customer-driven innovation across our ecosystem. 

 

The Product Owner is responsible for managing and monitoring the product development process. Duties will include roadmap maintenance, delivery date tracking, and interfacing with the development team on behalf of the Product Managers. You will act as a bridge between strategy and execution—helping to operationalize Boostlingo’s ambitious roadmap, build alignment across teams, and guide the delivery of products that are intelligent, intuitive, and deeply customer-focused.  

 

This is an opportunity to drive meaningful change at the intersection of product, technology, and user experience. 

 

 

 

OBJECTIVES AS A PRODUCT OWNER 
 

  • Manage the product backlog (grooming, prioritization, and refinement), working day-to-day with the scrum team(s) to clarify requirements, balance business needs with technical requirements and recommend alternative approaches to meet design requirements when needed, translating the company’s strategic goals into actionable user stories and clear success metrics. 
     
  • Prepare story details ahead of refinement, ensure acceptance criteria reflect technical and business needs, and collaborate with engineering to break down work into estimable, deliverable increments. 
     
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for one or more engineering teams, ensuring work is ready for development and helping the team maintain momentum toward delivery. 
     
  • Foster collaboration and clarity, building bridges between departments to ensure unified goals, shared accountability, and transparent communication. 
     
  • Provide reliable status updates to product leadership, flag risks early, and ensure stakeholders have a clear understanding of what’s in progress, what’s blocked, and what’s coming next. 
     
  • Collaborate closely with engineering team on testing expectations, validation steps, edge cases, and release readiness. 
     
  • Work with the Senior PM to understand priority shifts, roadmap decisions, and business needs to drive backlog management and delivery oversight. 
     
  • Ensure user needs, feedback, and edge cases are incorporated into story details, acceptance criteria, and release decisions, using guidance from senior product leadership. 
     
  • Respond promptly to Support inquiries, reproduce reported issues when necessary, and help create internal documentation or support materials to clarify product behavior. 
     
  • Document requirements, workflows, release notes, and configuration details to ensure engineering and cross-functional partners have accurate and up-to-date information. 

 

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS 
 

  • 4+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, Junior PM, or similar role within SaaS, enterprise software, or AI-driven technology environments. 
  •  Strong communication skills—able to break down complex work clearly 
  • Demonstrated ability to work closely with engineering teams to accomplish project goals 
  • Experience writing requirements or user stories 
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced Agile or kanban environments 
  • Highly organized and reliable with Excellent analytical, storytelling, and prioritization skills
