Financial Operations Systems – Lead

Department: Financial Operations Systems

Location: Bengaluru, India

Reporting To: Director, Financial Operations Systems

About the Role

As a Financial Operations Systems Lead, you will provide functional leadership across the finance systems portfolio, ensuring stable operations and a strong delivery pipeline of improvements. You will own stakeholder alignment, roadmap execution, and operating model excellence across support, controls, data governance, and change delivery—driving measurable outcomes for Finance Operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and execute the finance systems operating model: support performance, incident/problem management, change governance, and release readiness.
  • Own the functional roadmap for priority domains, aligning stakeholders, sequencing delivery, and ensuring benefits realisation.
  • Drive cross-functional delivery of complex initiatives (transformations, integrations, global rollouts) ensuring strong controls and compliance.
  • Establish governance for data quality and master data, including ownership, monitoring, and remediation mechanisms.
  • Lead, coach, and develop the team; set standards for quality, documentation, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Be point between team and senior leadership both withing Financial Operations systems and

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Information Systems, or related field (advanced degree a plus).
  • 7+ years of experience across finance systems, process transformation, and/or product ownership in an enterprise environment.
  • Strong leadership capability, including coaching, influencing senior stakeholders, and driving governance.
  • Deep understanding of finance controls, risk management, and change delivery best practices.
