Why Box needs you:

As a Software Engineer on the Content Security team, you will design, develop, and maintain key security features that empower our clients to keep their enterprise content safe and compliant at Box. In this role, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional engineering, product, and security teams to build robust, scalable features that classify, monitor, and protect millions of files owned by our global clients. You will work across the full stack—developing responsive, modern frontend interfaces as well as high-performance, secure backend systems—to deliver end-to-end features that safeguard critical business data.

 

What you'll do:

• Develop high-quality, scalable, and responsive software using modern technologies.
• Work closely with other engineers, product managers and related teams to deliver business critical security features for our clients.
• Attend and engage in weekly stand ups, team meetings, manager 1:1s
• Represent Box Poland internally and externally
• Participate in our on-call rotation, available at all times while on-call to help respond to and triage any issues that arise.

 

Who you are:

We are an AI-first company. This means you approach your work with a growth mindset and find ways to leverage AI to help make faster, smarter decisions that will 10X your impact at Box.

• 4+ years of professional software development experience
• Be proficient in Java with knowledge of software design principles
• Know frontend technologies like Typescript and React
• Assess, communicate and complete project milestones with manager and team members in a time sensitive manner 
• Must speak English proficiently

• 12% bug fixes
