We are looking for a UX/CX Designer to join us as we build cutting-edge technology solutions! This is your opportunity to be part of a team that is committed to delivering best in class service to our customers.
In this role, you will support end-to-end customer experience initiatives by creating design artifacts, collaborating with researchers, and helping translate insights into actionable concepts. You’ll contribute to storytelling for future-state experiences and work within a fast-paced, iterative environment focused on delivering thoughtful, customer-centered design. This role is ideal for a designer who is strong in execution, comfortable with design systems, and looking to grow strategic influence while working on enterprise-scale and AI-driven projects.
Responsibilities:
- Create design artifacts at various levels of fidelity, including:
- Wireframes
- Journey maps
- Personas
- Task flows
- Customer scenarios
- Storyboards
- Creative briefs
- Apply and maintain consistency within established design systems, templates, and UI patterns.
- Partner with researchers to support customer interviews, insight gathering, and synthesis.
- Contribute to design-thinking workshops, including planning, materials, facilitation support, and remote collaboration.
- Help communicate future-state concepts and NorthStar visions clearly to build alignment across teams.
- Use digital tools to demonstrate concepts and gather stakeholder feedback.
- Present work to peers and cross-functional partners, incorporating feedback into iterations.
- Collaborate with designers, researchers, PMs, and engineering partners to ensure a cohesive customer-centric approach.
- Support the development of end-to-end experience concepts and holistic solutions.
Qualifications:
- 5–7 years of professional experience in product design, service design, or experience design.
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field;
OR Master’s degree with relevant experience;
OR equivalent practical experience using design thinking to solve complex problems. - Proficiency with Figma and at least one additional design tool (Photoshop, Illustrator, Sketch, etc.).
- Strong foundational skills in customer experience design and design-thinking methodologies.
- Experience collaborating with researchers or participating in qualitative interviews.
- Ability to produce clear, well-structured design artifacts that support end-to-end experiences.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience contributing to shipped products or customer-facing deliverables through an end-to-end design process.
- Design Thinking certification (IDEO, IBM, Stanford, Luna, Forrester, or university programs).
- 1–3 years conducting 1:1 customer interviews or supporting research activities.
- 2–4 years supporting or co-facilitating virtual or live design-thinking workshops.
- Experience designing for enterprise/B2B environments.
- Familiarity with AI-driven or emerging-technology experiences.
Salary Range
Pay ranges vary based on multiple factors including, without limitation, skill sets, education, responsibilities, experience, and geographical market. The pay range for this position reflects geographic based ranges for Washington state: $75,000 to $90,000 USD/annually. The salary/wage and job title for this opening will be based on the selected candidate’s qualifications and experience and may be outside this range.
