Program Manager - Employee Experience

In This Role
In this role, you will support and execute high-visibility employee experience programs within a large, fast-growing, AI-driven organization. You will own day-to-day program operations for initiatives such as intern engagement, new hire onboarding, and an internal AI learning academy. You will balance logistics, content, and analytics while working closely with cross-functional partners to deliver scalable, data-driven programs that improve employee engagement and enablement. Success in this role requires strong execution, excellent communication, comfort with ambiguity, and the ability to operate independently in a start-up-like environment at enterprise scale.
Key Responsibilities
Program Execution & Operations
- Provide end-to-end operational support for employee programs, including intern programs, onboarding initiatives, and internal learning academies.
- Coordinate schedules, calendar invites, logistics, communications, and run-of-show materials for program events and sessions.
- Manage multiple concurrent programs while ensuring timelines, dependencies, and deliverables are met.
- Support recruitment, coordination, and task assignment for program contributors or squads as needed.
Digital Content & SharePoint Management
- Design, build, maintain, and refresh SharePoint sites supporting employee programs, ensuring a polished, intuitive, and engaging user experience.
- Manage digital assets, documentation, templates, and program archives.
- Ensure content remains current, well-organized, and aligned with program goals.
Data Analysis & Program Metrics
- Track and analyze program performance metrics such as participation, engagement, and survey feedback using Excel and Power BI.
- Build dashboards and reports to measure effectiveness and identify trends.
- Surface actionable insights to inform program improvements and leadership decisions.
Event Planning & Logistics
- Plan and support large-scale events and meetings, often running in parallel, including onboarding sessions, intern events, hackathons, meetups, and engagement initiatives.
- Review, recommend, and help approve contracts, budgets, and cost estimates related to events and programs.
Executive Communication & Reporting
- Prepare concise, executive-level status updates, reports, and dashboards for senior leadership.
- Translate complex program data into clear narratives and visual presentations.
- Draft and deliver internal communications and marketing collateral for newsletters, collaboration channels, and email updates.
Process Improvement & Optimization
- Identify opportunities to streamline workflows, improve scalability, and enhance program efficiency.
- Leverage AI tools and automation to improve execution speed, clarity, and overall impact.
Required Qualifications
- Strong first-principles problem-solving skills with the ability to break down complex or ambiguous challenges into practical solutions.
- Proven analytical and business acumen, with hands-on experience using advanced Excel and Power BI for data analysis, visualization, and reporting.
- Experience building and managing people or employee-focused programs at scale, with demonstrated operational rigor and attention to detail.
- Strong SharePoint expertise, including site design, content architecture, and user experience for large enterprise audiences.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience creating executive-level updates and internal communications.
- Comfortable working independently, proactively anticipating needs, and driving work forward with minimal oversight.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting Learning & Development programs, internal training initiatives, or academy-style enablement models.
- Background in HR, People Operations, Employee Experience, or culture-driven initiatives.
- Proven experience leading cross-functional programs in ambiguous or high-growth environments.
- AI-first mindset, with experience using AI tools to improve workflows or redesign processes to be AI-native.
- Experience building or experimenting with AI agents or automation tools.
- Prosci, PMI, or PMP certification.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- 2–4 years of experience working in a start-up, high-growth, or executive office environment.
Salary Range
Pay ranges vary based on multiple factors including, without limitation, skill sets, education, responsibilities, experience, and geographical market. The pay range for this position reflects geographic based ranges for Washington state: $90,000- $100,000 USD annually. The salary/wage and job title for this opening will be based on the selected candidate’s qualifications and experience and may be outside this range.
