We are looking for an Inventory & Project Operations Specialist to join us as we build cutting-edge technology solutions! This is your opportunity to be part of a team that is committed to delivering best in class service to our customers.
In this role, you will step into a fast-moving R&D lab environment where ideas turn into real-world systems at lightning speed. This role sits at the intersection of inventory strategy, project tracking, and operational efficiency.
You’ll own how equipment, data, and processes flow through the lab, building systems that make everything easier to find, track, and scale. Think of yourself as the architect behind the scenes, bringing order to controlled chaos so engineers can focus on building the future.
Responsibilities
Inventory Management
- Design and implement scalable inventory management systems for lab equipment and test assets
- Evaluate and introduce solutions such as barcode or RFID-based tracking
- Maintain accurate inventory records, ensuring reliability and audit readiness
- Monitor inventory levels, usage patterns, and discrepancies, and provide actionable insights
- Develop clear documentation and SOPs for inventory processes and system usage
- Track software subscriptions and procurement workflows for lab tools and services
- Optimize allocation of equipment and resources based on project priorities
Project Tracking & Process Optimization
- Build and maintain a centralized project tracking system to monitor progress and outcomes
- Organize, clean, and structure data for easy access and reporting
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align tracking systems with operational needs
- Continuously improve tracking workflows to enhance usability and efficiency
- Provide training and support to stakeholders on tools and processes
- Document testing results and ensure visibility across projects
Qualifications
- 3–4+ years of experience in inventory management, supply chain, project coordination, or related fields
- 2+ years of experience in project tracking, data organization, or process improvement
- 2+ years of experience applying analytical skills to solve operational problems
- 2+ years of experience in project management or coordinating cross-functional initiatives
- Proven ability to develop and implement systems or processes that improve efficiency
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on data accuracy and organization
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work across multiple teams
- Proficiency with tools such as Excel, collaboration platforms, and project tracking systems
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience implementing barcode or RFID-based inventory systems
- Background in lab operations, R&D environments, or shared resource management
- Familiarity with logistics or supply chain workflows
- Experience with tools such as SharePoint, Teams, or Visio
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Project Management, or related field
- Project Management certifications (PMP, PRINCE2, or similar)
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, evolving environment
Salary Range
Pay ranges vary based on multiple factors including, without limitation, skill sets, education, responsibilities, experience, and geographical market. The pay range for this position reflects geographic based ranges for Washington state: $85,000 to $90,000 USD/annually. The salary/wage and job title for this opening will be based on the selected candidate’s qualifications and experience and may be outside this range.
