Description:

Braskem America is seeking a skilled SAP specialist with deep expertise in SAP ECC Sales & Distribution (SD) and Logistics Execution (LE) and/or SAP S/4 HAHA Sales LoB. This position requires hands-on experience in core SAP SD-LE modules and/or S/4 HANA LoB configuration and implementation. Good knowledge and/or implementation experience of SAP Transportation Management (TM) or Yard Logistics (YL) is preferred. The ideal candidate will be responsible for partnering with our Order to Cash (O2C) area to map business needs, architect/design solutions, prepare financial business cases (solution benefit-cost), and execute projects to deliver value to our business team. The candidate will also work to optimize and make improvements to existing solutions and, as needed, work closely with our operations support team to address support system issues, bug fixes, etc. The candidate will act as US IT SD-LE implementation lead for SAP ECC migration to the SAP S/4 HANA platform with a focus on Order-to-cash (O2C) processes.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Solution Architecture – Business Partner:
    • Partner with business teams within O2C process areas to develop, maintain, and prioritize, SAP and non-SAP applications portfolio, ensuring it reflects the current and future business needs, aligned with industry and SAP best practices
    • For the prioritized opportunities in the O2C area, lead new technology/solution studies together with the business area to perform activities such as: current state mapping, RFIs, RFPs, solution design, partner evaluation/selection, and prepare business case preparation to detail the scope, implementation timeline, expected return, and necessary investments
    • Lead solution studies/architecture support for O2C processes including master data, sales contracts, sales and delivery processing, shipping, pricing, tax, credit, billing, and revenue recognition to meet business requirements using SAP ECC SD-LE or S/4 HANA Sales, and/or other non-SAP solution
  • Implementation / Delivery:
  • Identify transformation and business process re-engineering opportunities in the O2C process area and convert them into an implementation/delivery roadmap
    • Closely work with implementation partner as the US IT O2C lead for SAP ECC to SAP S/4 HANA migration
    • Participate in the full project lifecycle, from fit-gap analysis to configuration, integration, documentation, training, testing, deployment, and hyper-care support for SAP and non-SAP applications in O2C process area
    • Lead/Perform various IT solution implementation activities such as creating and validating functional specifications, configuring SAP SD-LE modules, writing-validate test plans, designing test security roles, data migration, preparing cut-over plans, supporting training, etc.
  • Continuous Improvement:
    • Work closely with the business and asses SAP and non-SAP applications to identify opportunities for process improvements and system enhancements to drive O2C operational efficiency and innovation.
    • Stay updated on SAP S/4 HANA Sales LoB advancements and industry trends, recommending relevant upgrades and best practices.
  • Application Maintenance / Support:
    • Work closely with members of the external support team and with global and local IT teams to troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to the O2C process area
    • Provide enhancement and maintenance support for the current ECC SD/LE and after migration for SAP Sales and TM, ensuring system performance, availability, and reliability

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of hands-on experience with SAP implementation and support, with a focus on SAP SD-LE
  • Proven track record of delivering SAP SD-LE or S/4 HANA Sales solutions for complex business processes
  • Extensive knowledge of sales forecast, quotes, contracts, order & delivery processing, credit management, pricing procedure & conditions, billing, revenue recognition, reporting, profitability analysis and cost-to-serve analysis in SAP
  • Experience integrating with SAP and non-SAP applications using CPI, PI, BTP, CIF, API, etc. Solid knowledge of EDI
  • Working knowledge of various CRM functions
  • Solid understanding of SAP SD-LE or SAP S/4 HANA Sales, as well as a good understanding of other SAP modules such as SAP TM, YL, MM, PP, QM, FICO, etc.
  • Ability to lead IT projects as well as the ability to configure SAP
  • Deep knowledge or willingness to learn SAP S/4HANA architecture, data models, and Fiori applications
  • Ability to lead and manage projects/products using waterfall methodology and agile methodology

Preferred Skills, Education, and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in Computer Science, Information Technology, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and project management skills
  • SAP certification in relevant SD, LE, or SAP S/4 HANA Sales modules is a plus
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Project/Product management certification is preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to communicate with multiple levels of organization
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States without the need for any type of sponsorship.
