Location: New York, New York (location varies)

Job Type: Part-Time, As Needed. Second Shift (3:30pm - 11:30pm)

Bradford Construction has an opportunity for an experienced Inspector on a part-time, as-needed basis to support renovation projects with one of our clients, a NYC Public Agency. All projects will be located in New York City but could be in any borough.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Conduct site inspections to verify work is performed in accordance with contract documents, project specifications, applicable codes, and quality standards.
  • Monitor construction progress, document field conditions, and prepare detailed inspection reports.
  • Coordinate with contractors to ensure compliance with project requirements.
  • Review materials, installations, and testing activities to confirm adherence to safety regulations, approved submittals, and project schedules.

Minimum Requirements

  • Minimum of six (6) years of experience in the inspection and monitoring of construction projects. 
  • Capable of providing clear, concise written and oral communication.
  • Knowledge of NYC DOB/OSHA codes, standards, and regulations.
  • Experience with NYC public agencies is strongly preferred.

Education: Associate's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction, or a related field. Additional experience will be considered in absence of a degree. #LI-Onsite

Compensation: $40.00 - $50.00 per hour
