The Regional Operations Manager will oversee the operations of strategically located warehouses (and growing) across a region. This role will be reporting to the Manager – Supply Chain Operations who oversees all warehouses across the system. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant operations in adherence to company policies, procedures, and FAA regulations. This role demands strong leadership skills, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and a commitment to continuous improvement. The position also involves managing critical metrics, optimizing transportation costs, and supporting the Aircraft On Ground (AOG) team to meet the airline’s immediate operational needs.
Here's what you'll do
- Ensure all warehouse operations are conducted safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company policies and FAA regulations.
- Maintain readiness for internal and FAA audits and address any compliance gaps promptly.
- Lead and manage warehouse staff, holding team members accountable for performance and compliance.
- Ensure all team members are adequately trained in processes and policies, achieving a high degree of transactional compliance.
- Manage, mentor, and develop warehouse personnel to foster a culture exemplifying Breeze’s Five Core Values of Safety, Kindness, Integrity, Ingenuity, and Excellence.
- Partner with Maintenance, Procurement, Planning, Quality, Engineering and Training departments to align operations with organizational goals.
- Facilitate seamless communication and coordination between warehouses and other business units.
- Define, implement, and monitor KPIs for each warehouse to measure efficiency, accuracy, and compliance.
- Regularly report progress on KPIs and identify areas for improvement.
- Oversee transportation activities to ensure compliance to policies and procedures and adhered, and cost-effective methods and service levels are used.
- Implement strategies to control and reduce transportation expenses without compromising service quality.
- Support the Aircraft On Ground (AOG) team to address critical operational needs with urgency and precision.
- Ensure the AOG team meets immediate requirements to minimize downtime and Review warehouse processes regularly to identify inefficiencies and process gaps.
- Develop and implement strategies for continuous improvement and enhanced operational performance.
Here's what you'll need to be successful
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field OR Equivalent work experience of 7+ years in warehouse leadership roles will be considered.
- Proven experience managing multiple warehouse locations and large teams.
- Strong knowledge of FAA regulations and compliance standards.
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and logistics software.
- Demonstrated ability to lead under pressure, particularly in high-stakes situations such as AOG events.
- Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to define and track KPIs effectively.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the aviation industry or managing warehouses subject to FAA audits.
- Lean Six Sigma certification or experience in process improvement methodologies.

- Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word)
- 24- hour operation may require holiday, weekend, overtime, or late-night work
- Well-groomed and able to maintain a professional appearance
- Ability to comply and maintain Occupation Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) standards
- Ability to lift, carry, and move medium to heavy weights of 50 pounds or more
- Must be able to climb, bend, kneel, crawl, and stoop frequently in relatively confined spaces
