Breeze Lift Pilatus PC-12 First Officer Program

Breeze Airways is searching for “Seriously Nice” Pilots to participate in a new time-building partnership program, Breeze Lift! The Lift program is designed to assist qualified aviators as they build time towards becoming a Breeze First Officer. Selected participants will work as First Officers for our Breeze Lift partner, Skyshare, and will receive a conditional job offer from Breeze. Upon upgrading to Captain at SkyShare, Lift pilots will receive a seniority number with Breeze! Once all requirements are met, Lift Pilots will be placed in the pool for a Breeze First Officer Training class in Salt Lake City, UT.
Starting salary for the Lift First Officer role is $30,000 per year.
What is Breeze Lift?
- Breeze Lift is a time-building program, in partnership with SkyShare.
- The Breeze Lift First Officer program is for pilots with a minimum of 1,200 hours who are working toward ATP minimums.
- Pilots in the Lift program will begin flying as a Pilatus PC-12 First Officer for our partner, SkyShare to build time towards upgrading to Captain.
- Upon reaching upgrade minimums and successfully completing a 135.299 line check, Lift Pilots will receive a Breeze seniority number and serve as a SkyShare Pilatus PC-12 Captain for a minimum of 18 months.
- Once all program requirements are met, Lift pilots will be placed in the pool for a Breeze First Officer Training class.
Here's what you'll do
- Fly Breeze aircraft parts and team members across the Breeze network
- Provide regular updates to the Breeze team to report progress
- Upgrade to Captain upon reaching all minimum requirements
- Fly a minimum of 18 months as a PC-12 Captain with SkyShare
- Remain in good standing with SkyShare, with an accompanying recommendation from leadership
- Continued learning and development in line with Breeze Airways core values of Safety, Kindness, Integrity, Ingenuity, and Excellence
- Employ the CRM concept of “Assertiveness with Respect”
- Maintain a high degree of proficiency and a thorough knowledge of flight operations, procedures, and systems applicable to the aircraft flown
- Develop technically and professionally in preparation for a transition to Breeze
- Successfully complete ATP-CTP training at time of Captain upgrade
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Company
Here's what you'll need to be successful
Minimum Qualifications
- Must have 1,200+ hours total time in fixed-wing aircraft at the time of application
- Fixed Wing PIC: 1,000 hours
- Multi-Engine: 50 hours
- Instrument: 50 hours
- Cross Country: 100 hours
- FAA Commercial or Airline Transport Certificate with airplane multi-engine class rating
- FAA Instrument Rating
- Must live or be willing to relocate to within a one-hour driving distance from Charleston, SC Airport
- Must successfully pass Breeze Airways and SkyShare selection process
- Must have the knowledge and ability to assess risk and use the proper resources to keep risk to an acceptable level during all phases of ground and flight operations
- Must have the knowledge, skills, and ability to quickly transition to the 121-operating environment.
- Must ensure pilot training history is accurately maintained and disclosed in accordance with FAA Pilot Records Database (PRD) regulations.
- High school diploma or equivalent educational achievement
- Must be at least 23 years old at the time of hire
- Current First-Class FAA Medical Certificate
- Valid FCC Radiotelephone Operator’s Permit
- Must have a valid U.S. driver’s license
- Must have a valid U.S. passport
- Must be able to travel unrestricted to and from the United States
- Must pass a DOT pre-employment drug test
- Must pass a TSA required fingerprint-based criminal history records check and a Breeze background check
- Must have authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
Skills/Talents
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills
- Extensive experience with Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe products
- Ability to facilitate cooperative relationships between/among people and departments
- Ability to work with individuals and teams at all levels in the organization
