What You'll Do
The Procurement & Inventory Management Associate supports global supply chain operations by managing purchase orders, monitoring production and supplier performance, and ensuring accurate inventory across a global network. This role partners closely with Supply Chain Planning, Quality Assurance, and external partners (CMOs, CPOs, and 3PLs) to ensure timely product availability and execution of the supply plan.
Responsibilities
Purchase Order / Production Management
· Create and manage SAP purchase requisitions and purchase orders
· Monitor open purchase orders and track production against delivery commitments
· Ensure timely product receipt and accurate invoice processing; resolve discrepancies with Accounts Payable
Inventory Management
· Maintain accurate inventory records across CMOs, CPOs, and 3PL partners within SAP (end of batch reconciliation)
· Coordinate with logistics teams to track global material and product movements
· Perform and reconcile monthly cycle counts to ensure ERP system accuracy
· Perform end of year cycle count (onsite at select CMO locations)
Where You'll Work
This is a U.S.-based remote role that will require quarterly, or as needed visits to our San Francisco Office. With onsite visits to CMO locations to conduct inventory counts.
Who You Are
Education: Bachelor’s degree in a related field, such as Supply Chain, Logistics, or Business Administration
Core Competencies:

Strong understanding of supply chain operations, inventory management, and supply planning (pharmaceutical/biotech preferred)

Experience managing purchase orders and supplier relationships

Ability to track production, inventory, and logistics across global networks
Technical Skills:

ERP systems experience (SAP strongly preferred)
Travel estimate: 15% of time
Qualifications:
• 5+ years of supply chain experience
• Experience in life sciences, pharmaceuticals, or regulated industries preferred
Salary
$101,000 - $135,000 USD
