Part-time Sales Lead (West Village)
Overview
We’re looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Part-time Sales Lead to join us in shaping the retail experience for our West Village store.
In this role, you'll be a leader in our store, guiding and motivating the team to provide stellar customer experiences. You’ll love this role if you’re as obsessed as we are with making people’s homes happy, comfortable (and aesthetically pleasing!) places and providing amazing customer experiences.
What you’ll do
- Ensure an exceptional customer experience is delivered 100% of the time
- Be a leader on the sales floor
- Contribute to the overall success of the store by owning an area of responsibility
- Manage and implement daily zoning schedules
- Lead meetings at the beginning of shifts to communicate daily goals and updates
- Fulfill opening and closing duties
- Assist with new hire onboarding and ongoing training
We're looking for someone with
- 1-3 years of experience in a retail (or service-oriented) environment
- Someone who is passionate, friendly, and positive
- A self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit
- Strong judgment and a service- and solution-oriented approach
- The ability to communicate clearly, confidently, and enthusiastically
- The ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, holidays and weekend shifts
- The ability to stand for long periods of time, physically move products and lift up to 40 pounds
Compensation & Benefits
At Brooklinen, our goal is to offer a competitive total compensation package which we determine based on specific market data taking into account our company size, stage, industry, and location. The compensation for this role is $22/hour.
In addition, you will have the opportunity to participate in a quarterly bonus program with a target % based on your role.
Beyond base compensation and bonus, we offer a 401K with a 4% Safe Harbor Match, have commuter benefits, and provide a quarterly product allowance
