Payroll & Benefits Analyst
Description:
We are currently seeking an entry level Payroll Analyst to assist the Finance and People Teams. They will have assigned day to day tasks to be completed in a timely manner as deadlines dictate and will also be relied upon to assist with ad hoc projects and tasks as assigned.
Duties and Responsibilities:
The key functions are delineated into the following broad categories:
- HRIS Management
- Manage ADP Onboarding Wizard
- Send welcome email for all pre-hires/secondees, prompting completion of ADP Onboarding Tasks
- Complete new hire employee profile in ADP
- Enter new hire employee profile in SAGE
- Ensure employees have elected non-paper options and follow-up accordingly
- Digital dissemination of W-2’s and paystubs
- Payroll Processing
- Prepare department salary report
- Prepare monthly consolidated payroll reports
- Update direct deposit details in our accounting system for new hires
- Reconcile FSA and HSA transactions
- Payroll Maintenance
- Manage all payroll tax communications by scanning/uploading to ADP Smart Compliance
- Review response packages and follow up as needed
- Provide support for payroll and benefit-related audit inquires
- Benefits Administration
- Reconciliation and processing of all monthly benefit invoices to submit to AP team, including STD, LTD, UHC, Dental, MetLaw, UNUM and NYPFL.
- Support the Finance and People teams on ad hoc projects
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- 0-3 years of relevant work experience
- Understanding of reconciliations
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with the utmost discretion
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Ability to multitask and manage in a deadline driven environment
- Strong PC and Microsoft application skills
- Strong attention to details and organizational skills is a must

Compensation
The applicant who is selected for this position will be eligible for the following compensation:
In New York City, the annual compensation for this role will be $60,000 - $80,000 DOE.
If an offer is extended to an applicant in New York, the applicant will be paid in line with this range and based on the applicant’s experience and qualifications. This range applies only to the New York position, and salaries in other offices and regions will vary based on an applicant’s experience and qualifications, as well as the competitive landscape.
