Job Purpose:
Investment Banking Analyst – Full-Time Program
BTIG is seeks an Analyst to join its Investment Banking group in San Francisco. The Analyst will play a key role supporting new business development, transaction execution, and client management across Consumer, Energy & Shipping, Healthcare, TMT, M&A, Equity Capital Markets, and Debt Capital Markets. The program offers broad exposure to a variety of transactions, including public and private offerings, mergers & acquisitions, and complex debt financings.

Training & Development:
- Comprehensive, immersive technical training in financial modeling, valuation, and industry best practices
- Dedicated preparation for Series Exam licensing requirements, with study support and resources
- Ongoing mentorship from experienced bankers and exposure to firmwide training initiatives
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Support senior bankers on a broad range of transactions, including IPOs, secondary offerings, private placements, debt financings, and mergers & acquisitions
- Prepare detailed client presentations and transaction materials
- Conduct financial analysis and build financial models for various industries and transaction types
- Assist in the development of marketing materials and pitch decks for clients and prospects
- Interact directly with clients during presentations and transaction execution
- Manage multiple concurrent projects and contribute effectively as part of a high-performing team
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Undergraduate degree in finance, economics, business, or a related discipline, with a minimum GPA of 3.5
- Summer internship at a top-tier investment bank, financial advisory firm, or accounting firm is strongly preferred
- Exceptional analytical, modeling, and interpersonal skills
- Superior verbal and written communication abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Ability to excel in fast-paced environments and manage multiple simultaneous project deadlines
- Strong work ethic, high level of attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset
