Imagine you're on the Weapons team on Destiny 2. You've been assigned a new upcoming gun to test and provide experiential feedback for. During a playtest, you find that the gun is doing the correct intended damage according to Design's spec, but its damage is trivializing the highest-difficulty endgame content. You believe top-end players will feel forced to use this weapon because it's that OP.
How would you communicate your feedback and recommendations to the gun's Designer? Consider how you would balance clarity, specificity, and empathy.
