About the Role:

We're looking for a highly analytical, self-motivated, and execution-focused Technical Implementation Manager - Data to join our Customer Success team. In this role, you’ll report to Butlr’s Head of Customer Success, and serve as the connective tissue between the customer team (including decision makers, data consumers, and on-the-ground team) and Butlr’s internal operations and technical team. 

You’ll dive deep into customer data and collaborate with the technical team to enable system optimization. You’ll be empowered with cross-functional resources to ensure timely resolution and successful implementation of solutions. You’ll see through the implementation and be a critical leader to help Butlr deliver fast speed to quality data and customer satisfaction. This role blends data analytics, field context, and operational rigor to drive optimization in how we deliver and scale our technology for customers.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Data as a Service B2B software companies in solution implementation program management, customer success, or a related role with strong cross-functional responsibilities.
  • You have a solid background and professional training in data science.
  • You’re analytical, proactive, detail-oriented, and love making sense of complexity through clear systems and processes.
  • A background in architecture/real estate/workspace design will be highly desirable so you can quickly understand and access physical spaces and customer data requirements.
  • You’re a strong cross-functional communicator, comfortable translating customer needs into technical requirements and vice versa.
  • You’re hands-on and outcome-driven—willing to roll up your sleeves to make sure things move forward.
  • You thrive in fast-paced environments where ambiguity is the norm and priorities evolve.

Bonus Points:

  • Experience working in a startup or early-stage company environment
  • Experience with data systems or IoT system field application will be helpful to give you a fast ramp on full stack solution (hardware/software) setups
  • Familiarity with workforce management, deployment logistics, or implementation coordination

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Butlr’s technical team to perform customer site data quality pre-check upon site deployment completion. Identify potential issues or challenges. 
  • Design strategy, action items, and execution plan for the next step on-site QA.  
  • Function as the hub to deliver full data quality and system success: Coordinate with operations and engineering teams.  Plan and deploy resources to perform on-site QA with back office tech support. Ensure speedy and successful QA, trouble shooting, and drive remediation efforts to completion.   
  • Engage directly with customers - this includes customer decision makers, direct data users, as well as on-the-ground teams. Visit sites when necessary to deeply understand their pain points and assess physical environments and system performance.
  • Track and document the step-by-step execution of optimization strategy and implementation at each customer site.
  • Translate customer-related data needs into actionable insights and clearly communicate context to internal teams.
  • Leverage data and analytics to identify patterns, prioritize efforts, and measure the success of implementations.
  • Partner closely with Account Executives and Customer Success Managers to ensure customers are kept informed and confident in our progress.
  • Maintain visibility into the entire deployment and support lifecycle—from discovery to fix to follow-through.
  • Act as the voice of the site internally—ensuring that our backend teams fully understand the unique context and constraints of each location.

Salary: $105k - $125k

Travel: 30%
