Overview of the Role
- The Associate E-commerce Partnership Manager will work together with the E-commerce Partnership Manager on all day- to-day client activities to grow C.A. Fortune Clients’ business on e-commerce platforms with a focus on Amazon. This is a dynamic, fast-paced and rewarding position in the ever changing and growing digital sales and marketing industry. The Associate E-commerce Partnership Manager will support E-commerce Partnership Managers in the day-to-day management of their portfolio participating in strategy sessions, business reviews, and operations meetings. They will also have direct partnership management responsibilities owning the development and execution of digital shelf and merchandising strategies. The ideal candidate for this role is digitally curious, problem solver, continuous learner, and data oriented. They enjoy being a part of a team that gets things done, supports each other, and likes to have fun while doing it.
- Fully Remote but if local to Chicago, IL 2-3 days in office
- Salary range: $55,000 - $65,000 based on experience, qualifications and skills.
- Travel required is less than 10% - i.e. industry trade shows, client national sales meetings, ECommerce Team meetings, and /or any other events

What You’ll do at C.A. Fortune
- Support Partnership Manager and direct management of clients’ brands and portfolio with responsibility for:
- E-commerce strategy development across the channel to ensure product availability, content, customer acquisition, and retention
- Amazon digital shelf creation & optimization, assortment recommendations, pricing, merchandising, Amazon Advertising strategy & execution, 1P & 3P selling
- Work with clients to identify, track, and report on KPIs.
- Help clients navigate relationships and meetings with Amazon Vendor Managers
- Support Partnership Manager by managing clients’ vendor and seller accounts, including catalog and content updates, merchandising, data accuracy, and submissions to Amazon support
- Engage internal insights team to deliver client reporting and data needed to make key business decisions
- Analyze client reporting and develop insights that lead to action to drive growth
- Ongoing project management to drive client success:
- Tracking progress and coordinate client updates with Partnership Manager
- Ensure critical timelines are met by coordinating deliverables between client and operations team
- Identification of issues and troubleshooting solutions with Amazon support
- Participation in key client strategy meetings as needed.
- Work with distributors and other 3P logistics providers to provide solutions for clients to sell any product via Amazon platforms
- Troubleshoot operational issues that may cause delays in shipments to Amazon, etc.
What You Should Bring to the Table
- Extremely organized and detail-oriented
- Demonstrated ability to achieve high performance goals and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong knowledge of the consumer products industry (specifically food products)
- Experience with a major retailer (Brick & Mortar or Online)
- Experience working for or partnering with Amazon
- Strong communication skills, ability to clearly articulate complex concepts/processes in a concise manner, including strong attention to detail and proofreading skills
- Must be comfortable with change and ambiguity
- Internal motivation to take initiative, learn, and become an Amazon expert
- Team player
- Strong analytics skills
- A demonstrated competency in multi-tasking and problem-solving with focus on meeting deadlines
- Strong analytical and strategic thinker; can turn self-developed strategies/efficient processes into execution
- 4-year bachelor’s degree, and/or similar industry experience
- Proficient with all necessary computer-based programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint)
You Will Stand Out if You Have
- Prior Amazon experience
- Prior client management and/or agency experience
- Prior CPG experience
- Familiarity with both Seller Central and Vendor Central platforms
- Digital curiosity and are a continuous learner
