The Asset Manager Partnerships Coordinator is a vital support role, contributing to the success of our Asset Manager Partnerships. This position ensures operational efficiency, team alignment, and high-quality partner service while providing the foundational training and experience necessary for future growth into relationship management or other mid-level roles.

This role will take ownership of essential administrative tasks, partner communications, and team coordination, enabling the broader team to focus on strategic initiatives. The role will also contribute directly to partner engagement efforts by managing critical materials, coordinating meetings, and supporting event execution.


Responsibilities:

Partner Support & Communication

  • Act as the first point of contact for routine partner inquiries, such as share class changes, fund updates, and agreement-related questions.
  • Provide responsive and efficient service to partners, escalating complex issues to senior team members as necessary.
  • Assist in maintaining and updating partner CRM pages, ensuring accurate and current information for asset manager dossiers.


Administrative & Operational Tasks

  • Own calendar management for the team, including scheduling internal and external meetings, teach-ins, and partner events.
  • Ensure team members are aligned on key activities and deadlines by distributing weekly updates and maintaining an activities tracker.
  • Process updates and amendments to existing partner agreements in coordination with the legal and compliance teams.
  • Prepare materials and handle logistical coordination for CAIS Sales and Asset Manager teach-ins, ensuring smooth execution.


Sales & Marketing Support

  • Manage the production and distribution of teach-in notes, sales pitch notes, and other key materials for new fund launches and strategic meetings.
  • Support the development of presentation materials for partner engagements, ensuring alignment with branding and messaging standards.
  • Coordinate with the marketing team to ensure timely delivery of sponsorship materials, event collateral, and partner-facing communications.
  • Build and maintain GP speaker library & outside speaker repository


Event Coordination

  • Assist with the planning and execution of webinars, Regional Leadership Forums, CAIS Live events, and Summit activities.
  • Handle logistical details for events, including registration management, agenda preparation, and follow-up communication with partners.


Team Collaboration & Development

  • Maintain team awareness by distributing updates on partner activities, sponsorship engagements, and Explore Marketplace developments.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (sales, marketing, origination) to ensure alignment and coordination across initiatives.
  • Support data collection and reporting for post-event reviews, partner ROI analysis, and program insights.


In addition to managing the team calendar, this role provides direct support to the Head of Asset Manager Partnerships by coordinating travel, expenses, and scheduling.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 1–3 years of experience in financial services, asset management, or a related field; internship experience may be considered.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or a related discipline preferred.
  • Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to articulate complex ideas simply and clearly.
  • Organizational Skills: Excellent time management and attention to detail, with the ability to handle multiple priorities effectively.
  • Tech Proficiency: Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and tools like Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Team Player: A proactive and collaborative mindset, with a willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
  • Interest in Growth: Eager to develop a career in relationship management, program management, or client engagement.

CAIS’ compensation package includes a market competitive salary, a performance bonus, and exceptional benefits. If you are located in New York, New York, the base salary range for this role is $90,000 - $125,000. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location.
