Photo Editor
The Position:
Cannabis & Glass is seeking a knowledgeable and dedicated Photo Editor to join our Spokane team. This office-based position will be located at our corporate headquarters in Spokane Valley. This role will require meticulous attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a passion for maintaining accurate records. Essential Functions:
- Edit product photos in a timely manner using Lightroom and upload into Quickbase.
- Maintain organization of a large library of Lightroom photos by following a standardized naming convention.
- Audit online menus to ensure descriptions and titles are correct.
- Work cross-functionally with purchasing, operations and our menu providers to resolve product issues on our online and in-store menus.
- Communicate with retail stores via the operations team to ensure that store photo takers are correctly photographing products in accordance to our photo standards.
- Review the online and in-store menus to ensure that product is displaying correctly on a daily basis.
Online Menu Management:
- Ensure that every product on the online menu has a clear and light balanced image.
- Ensure that product photos are taken in a timely manner by store managers.
- This will require working cross-functionally with members of the operations and retail teams.
- Ensure that all online products have accurate descriptions, product names, photos and brand names.
- Ensure that all products are in the correct categories and subcategories.
- Propose opportunities for improving the overall user experience and organization of the online menu and implement approved proposals.
I Heart Jane and Enlighten Vendor Management:
- Communicate with I Heart Jane representatives to ensure continuous improvement of the online menu and that issues are resolved.
- Communicate with Seed representatives to ensure continuous improvement of the online menu and that issues are resolved.
- Add photos taken by the store manager into I Heart Jane along with any other relevant product information.
- Work with purchasing to understand when deliveries are arriving to coordinate picture taking.
Working Conditions:
- Job duties will primarily include work indoors during all seasons.
- Employees may be exposed to difficult or stressful vendor and/or customer situations requiring patience and professionalism to effectively handle.
- Work duties may require sedentary activities, active standing, stooping and/or kneeling.
Minimum Requirements:
- Must be able to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.
- Must be able to sit and/or stand at workstation for up to eight hours per day.
- Must be able to proficiently operate computers, tablets and other productivity machinery and technology.
- Must be able to reliably arrive at work on time for scheduled shifts.
- Must be able to type at least 40 words per minute.
- Must be able to move about the corporate offices, as needed, to perform required functions.
- Must be able to remain in a designated work area for up to eight hours per day with the exception of breaks as required by law.
- Must be able to effectively communicate information and ideas so customers, vendors and coworkers will understand. Must be able to convey and exchange accurate information in these situations.
- Must be able to continue to assist vendors and coworkers during and after stressful situations.
- Must be able to accurately observe details at close range in order to recognize, identify, detect, determine and assess objects.
- Must be able to effectively communicate information displayed on digital screens.
- Must be able to perform other job duties as assigned.
- Must have the ability to work onsite at corporate Spokane Valley location.
- Must have the ability to work 40 hours per week.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum of 21 years of age.
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- Must commit to coming to work sober. We love cannabis but we do not get high on the job.
- Successfully deliver on all deadlines and accurately execute in a very fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and project management skills
- Flexible, willing to help when and where needed. Must be a collaborative team-player
