About the Job:  

Banks and financial services firms are turning inward to identify transformative initiatives to drive growth, improve efficiencies, and future proof their organizations.  We are looking for experienced execution leaders and program managers who want to work in the trenches with our clients’ leadership teams to help enable these transformative programs in often dynamic, demanding, and uncertain environments.  In addition to having hands-on execution and delivery leadership experience in financial services, coaching and training experience across organizational levels is foundational to helping drive transformation and enabling change take root at all levels of our clients’ organizations. 

 

What You’ll Get to Do: 

  • Coach and mentor stakeholders, teams, and individuals in scaled program execution models and transformation delivery 
  • Leverage Modern Delivery values, principles, and practices to deliver high value business outcomes 
  • Understand the mindset required of an effective change organization and influence enterprise change to drive the right mindset across all levels 
  • Lead execution and delivery of large-scale programs spanning business, technology, and operations functions 
  • Partner with client leadership and delivery teams to plan and mobilize program delivery and governance structures 
  • Oversee the delivery of large-scale, complex projects from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with client objectives and timelines. 
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, addressing their concerns and ensuring their needs are met 
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to drive project success, including risk management and contingency planning 
  • Navigate and manage organizational politics to ensure smooth project execution and stakeholder satisfaction 
  • Lead and mentor program delivery teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture 
  • Track program and project status, identify issues, and implement corrective actions to ensure project goals are achieved 

 

What You’ll Bring with You: 

  • Minimum of 10 years in consulting, with a focus on large-scale project delivery. 
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and negotiation skills. Proven ability to manage complex stakeholder environments and organizational politics. 
  • Experience working in an Agile or Modern Delivery environments is required. 
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, management, or related field. Advanced degree preferred. 
  • PMP, PRINCE2, SAFe SPC or equivalent project management certification. 
  • In-depth knowledge of large-scale program execution and management frameworks 
  • Experience in leading program delivery from inception to outcomes 
  • Experience initiating and/or progressing organizational change along the program or project delivery lifecycle 
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills 
  • Demonstrable history of developing, building, and growing your own coaching and training style and methods. 
  • Serve as a mentor with a keen sense of developing, building and coaching Transformation delivery and enablement among peers 
  • Practice a team-first, servant leadership style focused on organizational growth and success
