Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Android Developer to join our team working on digital payment and tokenization applications under the MDES program. The role involves developing secure, scalable, and high-performance mobile applications integrated with backend microservices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain Android applications using Kotlin and Android SDK.
- Integrate RESTful APIs and work closely with backend microservice teams.
- Implement modern Android components (Jetpack, Coroutines, MVVM).
- Ensure app performance, responsiveness, and security compliance.
- Write and maintain unit and UI tests using JUnit, Espresso, or Mockito.
- Collaborate with product, QA, and DevOps teams in an Agile setup.
- Troubleshoot and optimize applications for maximum speed and stability.
- Work with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and Gradle for build and release management.
Required Skills:
- 5+ years of hands-on Android development experience.
- Proficient in Kotlin, Android Jetpack, and RESTful API integration.
- Exposure to Payments / Fintech / Digital Wallet applications preferred.
