Senior Business Analyst – Financial Markets Technology

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a subject matter expert (SME) in Trading and Market Risk, including VaR, Sensitivities, FRTB, and Capital requirements.
  • Collaborate with global teams to deliver technology solutions for risk management and trading platforms.
  • Lead projects as a Business Analyst ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
  • Mentor team members and share expertise to strengthen overall team capability.
  • Engage directly with end-users to understand requirements and provide hands-on support.

What You Bring

  • Experience: Minimum 8 years in Financial Markets within a financial institution or risk management software company, in client-facing roles.
  • Knowledge:
    • Strong understanding of Trading and Market Risk concepts and practices.
    • Expertise in derivatives risk and pricing in at least one asset class.
    • Proven track record in technology solution delivery.
  • Education: Solid academic foundation in financial mathematics, statistics, and technology.
  • Skills:
    • SQL (mandatory), Python (preferred).
    • Familiarity with ADO/JIRA tools.
  • Certifications: CFA, FRM, or PMP are highly relevant.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Adaptive and collaborative in a multicultural environment.
    • Customer-focused, problem-solving mindset.
    • Ability and willingness to mentor others.
