Job Title: Business Analyst with SMTP expertise

Key skills: BRD, FRD, Requirement gathering, SMTP Mail Exchage

Location – Pune

(Hybrid - 3 days WFO - Tues, Wed, Thurs)

Shift Timings: 12:30pm-9:30pm

End User Computing (EUC) designs, delivers and supports technology products at the core of the workplace environment which directly impacts user experience and enable productivity and collaboration.
 
Position Overview
We are seeking a Business Analyst to support the SMTP/email modernization initiative by bridging business requirements and technical implementation. This role will gather requirements, analyze current processes, and ensure alignment between stakeholders and technical teams.
 
Your key responsibilities
• Create comprehensive BRDs, functional specs, and test plans. • Translates technical concepts into business language for non-technical stakeholders. • Document current-state processes for SMTP relay, email security, and compliance workflows. • Prepare “As-Is” and “To-Be” process maps for mail flow and governance. • Facilitate workshops and meetings to validate requirements and priorities. • Analyze logs, metrics, and reports to support decision-making. • Act as liaison between architects, engineering teams, and business units. • Assist in POCs for SMTP changes and security features. Validate that implemented solutions meet business needs.
 
Your skills and experience
• Strong understanding of email systems and SMTP fundamentals. • Familiarity with secure email gateways (Proofpoint or equivalent). • Experience in requirements gathering and process modeling. • Proficiency in tools like Visio, Jira, Confluence, ServiceNow (for CMDB and Change workflows). • Ability to summarize complex documentation into executive-level reports and dashboards. • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
