The Role
As a Senior Java Engineer, you will design and deliver robust backend solutions using modern microservices architectures. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you’ll help shape scalable systems in cloud-native environments, contributing to innovative digital platforms for leading financial institutions.

What You’ll Do

  • Design and develop backend services using Java and modern microservices frameworks
  • Build scalable, cloud-native applications leveraging AWS services
  • Contribute to architecture decisions, including event-driven and CQRS patterns
  • Develop high-quality, maintainable code with a focus on performance and reliability 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end solutions

Key Technologies: Java, AWS, microservices, CQRS, Micronaut 

What We’re Looking For

  • 7+ years of experience in backend engineering using Java and microservices architectures
  • Hands-on experience with AWS and cloud-native development
  • Familiarity with event-driven architecture and CQRS principles
  • Experience with frameworks such as Spring Boot or Micronaut
  • Solid understanding of software engineering best practices, including testing and CI/CD

Bonus Points For

  • Experience working within financial services or consulting environments
  • Knowledge of messaging systems such as Kafka or similar technologies
  • Exposure to containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Experience contributing to system design and architecture discussions
  • Experience supporting or mentoring other engineers
