EDUCATION REQUIREMENT:

  • Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, web design, or related field.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Three (3) to five (5) years of professional experience in print layout and web design.
  • Experience should include a broad ability to communicate design choices clearly, evaluate choices critically, and solid knowledge of design and visual principles.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating proficiency in responsive design and multimedia projects.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience in WordPress (designing, managing, and customization).

FUNCTIONS:

  • Provide graphic and video elements for print, web, social, trade shows, etc.
  • Design brochures, ads, P.O.P., and other collateral materials in support of CFC lending & sales programs.
  • Participate in designing trade show aesthetic and layout.
  • Monitor web pages for design and aesthetic issues.
  • Help plan and execute internal and external photo shoots, video shoots, and voice overs.
  • Purchase photos and videos as needed.
  • Maintain digital photo files.
  • Serve as liaison with print vendors.
  • Maintain brand differentiation in advertising and literature.
  • Participate in cross-functional marketing teams support for association lending and sales efforts.

PREFERRED SKILLS:

Technical Skills:

  • General knowledge of design elements, artistic ability and creativity are essential.
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign; plus, Premiere Pro or After Effects for video).
  • Strong expertise in responsive web design, WordPress development, basic HTML/CSS, and familiarity with div structures and dynamic elements.
  • Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro) to produce high-quality marketing videos.

Skills & Abilities:

  • Excellent time management, multitasking, and organizational skills; able to handle multiple projects under tight deadlines.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; able to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Solid understanding of design principles, typography, and how to optimize visuals for digital platforms.
  • Ability to effectively present ideas – both verbally and visually. Receptive to feedback from leadership and able to iterate quickly to deliver optimal design solutions.
