Overview:
Capstone is currently looking for an individual to join our Transition Infrastructure pod as a Fundamental Industrials Analyst. Reporting directly to a Senior Portfolio Manager, the position will be based in New York. This is a truly unique opportunity to join a growing team, work directly with the firm’s senior stakeholders, and gain valuable insight and exposure.
Skills and Qualifications:
- 3-10 years experience covering industrials equities
- Sell-side or the buy-side experience is welcomed, however, those with sell-side background, exceptional differentiated contacts in industries covered
- Preference for those with long-only experience, but we are also open to considering candidates with long-short experience, provided they have demonstrated expertise in shorting
- Specific industries coverage: transports, engineering and construction, machinery, electric equipment
- Strong rolodex of contacts in the industries covered
- Process-driven:events, weeklies, demand/supply models, industry checks outside of wall street conferences
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

The applicable base salary range for this role is $150,000 - $200,000 USD plus discretionary bonus. The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
