Senior Product Marketer - Dental
About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Product Marketer with deep experience in the dental lab industry, someone who understands the technical landscape, while knowing the day-to-day challenges labs face. This role is critical to reinforcing Carbon’s presence in the dental lab space, positioning our digital production tools and solutions as the future of lab manufacturing.
You will own the go-to-market strategy for Carbon’s dental lab offerings, shaping messaging, creating content, and working closely with the broader marketing team, sales, and product teams. Your insider knowledge of lab workflows and business dynamics will help us speak directly to the needs of lab owners and technicians, building trust and driving adoption of Carbon’s technology.
We prefer this role to be based in our Redwood City, CA office; with a hybrid office schedule. We may consider other US locations working remotely for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop clear, compelling positioning and messaging for Carbon’s dental lab products and solutions, grounded in deep customer and market insight.
- Craft targeted content and sales enablement tools — presentations, data-sheets, case studies, video scripts, webinars — that resonate with dental lab audiences.
- Define and execute go-to-market plans for new products and applications, partnering with Product Management and Sales.
- Conduct market research and customer interviews to understand lab pain points, decision drivers, and competitive landscape.
- Collaborate with field sales and partner channels to create campaigns that drive engagement, lead generation, and revenue growth.
- Willingness to travel for customer visits in the field and trade shows
- Relationship management with 3rd party trade publications, vendors, agencies and influencers.
- Strategic Product Marketing budget management.
- Collaborate on and execute tradeshow strategy and support
- Represent the voice of the lab customer internally to inform product strategy, pricing, and roadmap decisions.
- Monitor and report on the effectiveness of marketing activities and adjust strategies accordingly.
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in dental (dental lab preferred) marketing, product marketing, or related roles.
- Strong understanding of dental lab operations, workflows, and challenges across a range of appliances (e.g., nightguards, dentures, splints, crowns).
- Proven track record of crafting effective product messaging and go-to-market strategies.
- Ability to translate complex technical solutions into clear, benefit-driven value propositions.
- Excellent communication, writing, and presentation skills.
- Hands-on experience working directly in or with dental labs.
- Familiarity with additive manufacturing / 3D printing technologies.
- Knowledge of digital workflows in dental production.
- Experience working cross-functionally with product, sales, engineering, and executive leadership.
- Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Why You’ll Love This Role
This role presents a unique opportunity to help reshape how dental labs think about production. You’ll be part of a passionate team at the forefront of additive technology and digital manufacturing, helping bring revolutionary tools to the people who make smiles happen every day.
