Job Summary:

Role Overview: Sales Director Power Sales & Marketing – Your primary goal will be pivotal in leading, developing, and strategically driving the growth of our portfolio by establishing and managing long-term service contracts with corporations seeking renewable energy solutions. You will lead the commercial negotiation, contracting, and execution of PPA, ranging from large RE off-takers (e.g., global top brands, data centers) to local corporates.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Sales

  • Own and hit the sales targets for our PPA services by creating & nurturing customers, enhancing existing offers and acting as the go-to expert within the sales team.
  • Prepare commercial offers; lead commercial negotiations and securing PPAs, collaborating with project development teams, legal, finance, and other relevant teams to ensure alignment of project timelines, contract terms meeting business requirements.
  • Manage multiple sales projects with different timelines in parallel, defining priorities and focus areas to keep projects on track, reporting when required effectively and efficiently.

 

            Business Development

  • Develop and execute the PPA strategy for the solar business, including identifying target markets, industries, and potential customers
  • Establish the strategy and set up an action plan to generate new contacts and incoming requests: communication, participation and potentially organization of internal and external events such as conferences, exhibitions, round tables, third parties’ partnerships

           

Qualifications:

  • University degree (or higher) . Fields related to business, finance, law is a plus
  • Minimum 10 years of sales experience in selling intangible solutions and closing numerous commercial contract deals
  • Minimum 3 years of sales experience related to renewable energy
  • Experience working in start-up company is a plus
  • High self-motivation and excellent leadership
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities with a results-oriented mindset
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, negotiation and presentation skills
  • Customer-oriented and teamwork spirit
  • Fluent Japanese in both speaking and writing
  • Basic English communication skills. No aversion towards English
