Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant

Summary: We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our team and provide exceptional care to students within a school setting. The ideal candidate is passionate about occupational therapy and committed to helping students reach their full potential through various strategies and interventions.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and provide occupational therapy services as outlined in students’ Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
• Conduct motor screenings and assessments.
• Prepare and provide written reports, progress monitoring, and documentation.
• Maintain accurate records and regular reporting.
• Collaborate effectively with teachers and staff to support student success.
• Adhere to supervision requirements in accordance with governing bodies.

Qualifications:

• Licensed Occupational Therapist in North Carolina.
• Experience working in a school setting is preferred.
• Strong understanding of various therapeutic strategies to support student development.
• Familiarity with ECATS is a plus.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain detailed documentation.
