The Role:
Carrot is looking for a motivated and collaborative Product Marketing Manager who is eager to shape the value and voice of our products in a dynamic environment. Reporting to Product Marketing leadership, you’ll partner closely with cross-functional teams to support the launch and growth of Carrot’s global offerings.
You will be a hands-on contributor — crafting product positioning, supporting go-to-market (GTM) planning, developing messaging, and executing launch activities to drive product adoption and customer satisfaction.
You’ll blend a customer-centric approach with focused research and data-driven insights to help position Carrot as a leader in the health and benefits space. The Team:
This role sits on our Marketing team, reporting to our Director of Product Marketing. The Marketing team consists of experts across Events, Design, Product Marketing, Communications and Content, and Demand Generation. Carrot’s Marketing team is responsible for sharing the Carrot story with the world.
Responsibilities
- Build foundational knowledge of Carrot’s products and industry.
- Stay up-to-date on trends and competitive landscape to inform product marketing activities.
- Conduct basic research to support positioning, messaging, and GTM activities.
- Draft and manage clear, actionable project plans for launches and campaigns.
- Develop clear, customer-focused positioning and messaging for feature and product launches.
- Translate technical features into compelling stories for diverse audiences.
- Plan and execute product/feature launches in partnership with Product, Sales, and broader Marketing.
- Create and update key enablement materials (e.g., pitch decks, one-pagers, demo scripts).
- Support the maintenance and testing of Carrot’s demo environments.
- Collaborate with Product, Sales, Customer Success, and other teams to deliver unified product marketing initiatives.
- Facilitate feedback loops between stakeholders and the Product Marketing team.
- Leverage customer insights and feedback to strengthen product positioning and tailor marketing efforts.
- Support custom messaging for consultants, health plans, and other market segments.
- Demonstrate curiosity in challenging assumptions, continuously learning, and seeking improvements.
- Tackle problem-solving with a creative and solutions-oriented mindset.
- Utilize available data to assess campaign and launch performance, troubleshooting issues with support.
- Deliver reliable, high-quality outcomes on time to help achieve team and company goals.
- Take ownership of your projects from planning to completion.
- Anticipate risks and suggest process improvements.
- Comfortable in ambiguity — able to function in a flexible, constantly changing environment
Minimum Qualifications:
- 4+ years of experience in B2B product marketing, with exposure to technology, health, or benefits industries.
- Demonstrated ability to execute marketing plans and product launches.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills tailored to different audiences.
- Experience working cross-functionally (e.g., Product, Sales, Customer Success).
- Proven organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects to completion.
- Curiosity and willingness to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience marketing to HR, benefits, or healthcare buyers.
- Familiarity with tools such as Asana, Figma, or JIRA.
- Prior work in a mission-driven or health tech organization.
Compensation:
Carrot offers a holistic Total Rewards package designed to support our employees in all aspects of their life inside and outside of work, including health and wellness benefits, retirement savings plans, short- and long-term incentives, parental leave, family-forming assistance, and a competitive compensation package. The starting base salary for this position will range from $81,000.00 - $101,000.00. Actual compensation may vary from the posted base salary depending on your confirmed job-related skills and experience.
