We’ve built tools to make it easy for startups to issue stock options to their employees, stay compliant with 409A and ASC 718, and manage the lifecycle of fundraising. In 2025, Carta is making the next evolution in our platform to build ERP for Private Capital on top of the powerful network for companies and investors on Carta.
As a Lead Product Manager for Investor Relations, you’ll build core components of Carta’s ERP to connect companies and investors. You’ll help solve problems like:
- How do we create an exceptional experience for investors to make and manage their investments?
- How do we create a company experience that makes Carta the place for founders to do investor updates?
- How do we further connect investors with their portfolio companies on Carta?
- How can we deliver automated valuations to investors that can pass an audit and be shared with their LPs?
- How can we help companies, investors and LPs maximize the value of their holdings using the QSBS tax exmpetion?
The Team You'll Work With
You’ll be joining our Investor Relations (IR) product team. The IR team aims to strengthen the connection between investors and their portfolio companies on Carta. We focus on simplifying portfolio company reporting, improving investor access to cap table data, and equipping funds with better tools to track valuations and make new investments. We build for both funds and their portfolio companies, ensuring that our users have the tools they need to manage those relationships effectively.
As part of this team, you will collaborate across our Companies and Fund Administration businesses to strengthen relationships between these key players in Carta’s network.
About You
Here are some of the attributes we’re looking for in this role:
- You have 6+ years of experience in product management, owning and launching products that deliver real customer value.
- You have a natural curiosity about private capital markets and enjoy learning about new and complex topics.
- You are a systems thinker who can break down complex processes and systems into simple models. Carta’s product is both wide and deep, and this role will be expected to work across large areas of our product.
- Someone with prior experience partnering with business leaders and cross-functional teams to ensure we’re delivering both a best-in-class product and service to our customers.
- You thrive in a fast-paced, scaling environment, tackling difficult challenges with creativity and persistence. You take ownership of problems and drive them to resolution.
- You excel at solving problems proactively and independently, taking ownership of initiatives from inception to delivery.
- Experience in financial services and fintech products are a plus.
Salary
Carta’s compensation package includes a market competitive salary, equity for all full time roles, exceptional benefits, and, for applicable roles, commissions plans. Our minimum cash compensation (salary + commission if applicable) range for this role is:
- $204,000 - $240,000 in [San Francisco, CA; Santa Clara, CA, New York, NY]
