Customer Success Contractor

THE ROLE

The Customer Success Contractor’s extensive sports science knowledge and experience, coupled with passion for developing customer relationships that promote retention and loyalty, will promote value beyond sale and contribute to global sports excellence.

This role encompasses a variety of leadership objectives, largely pertaining to the drive of commercial relationships, presentations and educational content. Often partnering with sales and product staff through mentoring, providing specific content and case studies from first-hand experience consulting with teams.

This role is pivotal to ensuring customer centricity and provides training, education and ongoing support to a select customer base with Catapult's entire range of athlete tracking hardware and software solutions. The role assists with the research and development of our technology solutions and aims to provide advanced data analysis for both internal staff and existing customers. This includes onsite customer visits to teams and organisations within an allocated portfolio to facilitate the best practice use of our technology. 

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Product Optimisation
    • Drive product development and prioritization as it pertains to sales including revenue blockers and additional revenue opportunities
    • Generate opportunities through product feedback, which will generate innovation internally within the business
    • Provide evidence based, scientific materials for marketing, internal and external purpose
    • Take charge of the competitive analysis for the portfolio you are responsible for

  • Customer Management
    • Drive consistency and customer satisfaction by responding quickly to customer queries
    • Account manage a select portfolio of teams within your dedicated territory and maintain client health
    • Educate customers on best practice utilizing Catapult technology and value proposition
    • Support new business success & contract extensions through various activities, including performing product demonstration
    • Maintain a large database of information.

What You Will Need

  • 1+ years of relevant industry experience. 
  • Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree preferred preferably in a sports science, science or technology related field
  • Exceptional, proven sales track record in similar roles, preferably in sports.
  • A self-starter able to maintain a cost-effective and time-effective travel schedule, completing expense reports and updating a CRM system daily. You’ll treat your role as if the business was your own.
  • Flexible, with the ability to travel between a region of states approximately 50%.
  • Able to perform quality, scientific presentations in the field of athlete performance.
  • Able to communicate with coaches by understanding the basics of targeted sports and pre-identify, through research, customer needs in advance of a presentation.
  • Able to understand the differences in performance training, strength and conditioning, tactical skill training, rehabilitation, sports media and business development of the customers.
  • Adaptable. We know our current needs, and we work at a very fast pace to achieve these. At times, we’ll demand a lot, but you’ll be rewarded well in return. We understand life balance and respect it.
  • Proficient in English written and spoken.
