We are looking for a talented and inquisitive Sales Director for Germany (m/f/d) whose drive for learning and determination for continuous improvement aligns with our ambitious, fast-growing and transforming company. You will be a key player and responsible for leading and motivating a team of Business Development representatives. The Sales Director will work closely with the executive management team to implement and execute the sales strategy. They will be responsible for developing the sales team and growing the market.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Accountable for regional team sales target
- Successfully lead the sales team by overseeing training, providing motivation, and offering ongoing support to a dedicated group of employees
- Identify key sales metrics, define and measure the sales process to develop benchmarks for growth
- If required, build the team beyond the current size and help attract and onboard gifted and passionate sales associates
- Manage the implementation and execution of the global and local sales strategies
- Ensure that sales goals are thoughtfully developed and executed
- Develop, implement and manage systems and processes to ensure maximum productivity, great client experience and a fun work environment
- Maintain proper documentation of sales systems (e.g. Salesforce), data, processes and best practices, and ensure compliance with these topics is achieved by all team members
- Complete quarterly commission and performance reports for each sales team member, or as required
- Ensuring that customer contracts are in a position to be signed by Catapult with regards to legal administration
- Effectively communicate and collaborate with the customer support department (or any other department, as required), to ensure client expectations are set realistically and achieved as promised
- Participate in the interview process when adding to the tea, as required
- Prepare relevant internal sales documents and reports for the executive team, as required
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
- Extensive experience in consistent, successful sales performance, preferably in sports
- Demonstrated ability in managing a sales team required. Proven ability to grow a high performing team by both recruiting and developing talent
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant field required (or equivalent experience)
- Excellent communication skills and ability to communicate with C-suite.
