Creative Production Manager (6 month fixed-term-contract)

About the Role

This role is central to the smooth operation and running of the overall content and creative unit.

The role co-ordinates the end-to-end execution of creative projects, overseeing budgets, schedules, resources, and quality standards for various content types like video, digital media, and print. This role requires strong project management and leadership skills, the ability to manage multiple workstreams, a deep understanding of creative production processes and software, and excellent communication to coordinate internal and external teams, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards

The role is responsible for coordinating and monitoring all aspects of content and creative production, including scheduling, logistics, and budgeting. Oversee the production process from start to finish, ensuring that all deadlines are met and that the final product meets the required quality standards.

The ideal candidate for this role should have excellent organizational and communication skills, be detail-oriented, and have a strong understanding of the production process.

What You’ll Do

Project Management

Lead and oversee all stages of marketing content production, from initial concept through final delivery, ensuring smooth workflow, clear communication, strong collaboration, and adherence to project timelines and quality standards.  

Stakeholder Management

Identify, analyze, and engage with a wide range of stakeholders across the organization, including senior leadership, project owners and marketing teams. Understand their needs and expectations while effectively managing their involvement and influence to keep projects moving forward with clarity and alignment. 

Sourcing

Identify and engage the best resources for each project by actively sourcing talent across internal teams, freelancers, and agencies. Proactively gather the best content and initiatives from across Catapult verticals, pulling in high-potential projects and materials to enrich the marketing pipeline and drive impactful outcomes. 

Budget & Negotiation

Manage project budgets effectively, keep financials on track, and negotiate with vendors to ensure maximum value. 

Quality Assurance

Uphold the highest standards of quality and brand alignment in all creative outputs, conducting regular reviews and iterations based on performance data and stakeholder feedback.  

Process Creation

Help develop and establish new production & asset storage processes from the ground up, ensuring enhanced efficiency and scalability as the team grows. Continuously refine and improve these processes to support the evolving needs of the creative workflow.  

Tool Onboarding and Management

Take charge of selecting, onboarding, and managing a project management tool to facilitate seamless collaboration. Ensure the tool is effectively integrated into the team's workflow, providing training and support to maximize its utilization and minimize friction. Been open to, and investigate, AI tools and programmes to help benefit the overall creative process.

What you’ll need

  • Several years of experience in a related area, often with some supervisory or team management experience. 
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Google Suite and production software
  • Experience working in creative production
  • Knowledge of production equipment and techniques
  • Understanding of budgeting and scheduling
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Flexibility to work long hours and weekends as needed 
  • Keeping up-to-date with industry trends and developments - recommending and researching AI solutions and programmes
  • A bachelor's degree, although extensive experience would also be suitable
