About the job

The trainee will support the firm's professionals in monitoring the legislative, regulatory and political activity of the main EU institutions. She will develop analysis reports and briefing notes following this monitoring. She will also contribute to the drafting of reports, position papers, briefings and presentations for the firm's clients, in collaboration with the professionals in the office and under the supervision of the head of office.

Requirements include:

  • Strong academic record. Law, Economics or Political Science degrees required;
  • Fluent English (strictly required) as well as fluent Italian;
  • Strong interest in EU politics and policies;
  • Knowledge of EU regulatory and legislative processes is a further advantage;
  • Previous Public Affairs experience is a further advantage;
  • Previous experience in one of the European Institutions is a further advantage.

The role requires analytical skills, ability to communicate effectively both in writing and in person, ability to work as a professional, to meet strict deadlines and possibly work under pressure.
