Creative Project Manager

Brea, California

About the Role

Champions Group is looking for a Creative Project Manager to run point on projects for our internal creative team, which operates like an in-house ad agency. You'll own the full lifecycle of creative work — from intake & briefing through QC and handoff — across a wide mix of project types, including email, print, billboards, signage, swag, and collateral.

This role is ideal for someone with an agency background who is detail-oriented, self-motivated, and genuinely energized by keeping complex, multi-project workflows organized and moving. You'll be the connective tissue between stakeholders and the creative team, making sure nothing falls through the cracks.

***Please note that this is a 100% onsite role in Brea, CA.

What You'll Do

  • Own project intake — gather and clarify project requirements from stakeholders at the outset
  • Assign resources — match projects to the right creative team members based on skillset and bandwidth
  • Chase down answers — proactively follow up with stakeholders to resolve open questions and unblock work
  • Apply institutional knowledge — track learnings from past projects (brand guidelines, word choices, client preferences) and make sure they carry forward into future work
  • Keep projects on track — manage timelines, monitor progress, and hit deadlines
  • Flag roadblocks early — identify risks before they become problems and escalate appropriately
  • QC before handoff — give every deliverable a final quality check against brand standards and project requirements before it goes out the door

What We're Looking For

  • 3+ years of experience as an Account Manager, Project Manager, or Studio Manager — agency experience strongly preferred
  • Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational instincts
  • Self-taught, resourceful, and comfortable figuring things out without hand-holding
  • A genuine self-starter with internal drive — someone who takes ownership rather than waiting for direction
  • Strong communication skills; comfortable pushing stakeholders for clarity and follow-through
  • Experience managing a variety of project types (print, digital, promotional, environmental) is a plus
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects and priorities simultaneously without losing track of details

Perks & Benefits

  • Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance
  • Life Insurance & Supplemental Benefits
  • 401(k) with Company Match
  • Paid Vacation & Holidays
  • Career Growth & Advancement Opportunities
  • The Opportunity to Make a Meaningful Impact in a Growing Organization

Pay Range

$80,000 - $85,000 USD
