OVERVIEW

Reporting to the Director of PMO, the Project Manager oversees high-priority projects from design handoff through implementation, ensuring quality and alignment across all stakeholders, including end users, distributors, and vendors. This role requires significant resource coordination and integration across functional teams. 

The ideal candidate is a skilled communicator with strong IT project management experience and adept in conflict resolution and problem-solving within fast-paced environments. You’re solution-oriented, self-driven, and thrive on continuous learning. Known for your positivity, attention to detail, and technical expertise, you build trust and foster teamwork while delivering project excellence. 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead large projects or program-level services from inception to completion. 
  • Collaborate with teams to define project scope, deliverables, activity sequences, and work estimates, developing a comprehensive project schedule. 
  • Align with stakeholders to prioritize objectives and establish acceptance criteria, managing expectations throughout. 
  • Ensure project objectives are met within scope, time, cost, and quality constraints. 
  • Actively monitor dependencies and risks, escalating and resolving issues as needed. 
  • Lead and support team members, promoting adherence to process and efficiency. 
  • Communicate regularly with project resources, internal teams, stakeholders, and vendors on project status. 
  • Mentor and provide guidance to Project Manager I & II roles. 

 

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS 

  • 6+ years as a Project Manager or Program Manager in IT. 
  • 8+ years in IT services, MSP, or a K-12 tech/operations role. 
  • Familiarity with construction projects and experience adjusting IT project plans to align with building schedules. 
  • Knowledgeable in LAN/WAN, VoIP, MDM, Microsoft Server, Active Directory, Mac/PC support, and cloud solutions. 
  • Active CAPM or Project+ certification; PMP preferred. 

 

HOURS AND LOCATION

The hours for this position are typically 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM EST. This is a hybrid position that requires travel to our clients and our office, as needed. 

 

COMPENSATION

The salary range for this position is $100,000 to $120,000 annually.
