Title: SEO Marketing Specialist
Reports to: Director, SEO Marketing
Location: Remote (must be based in Atlanta, GA)
About the Job:
As a Content Marketing Specialist at CharterUP, you will create compelling and effective content aimed at driving engagement and activity on our sites. In this role, you will execute our content strategies by producing industry-specific content and materials. You will thrive in a collaborative team environment that values learning, growth, and working together toward common goals. Strong writing skills and the ability to seamlessly collaborate with colleagues are essential for success in this position.
Responsibilities:
- Create content that is informative, engaging, friendly, and thorough for a variety of page types.
- Thoroughly research travel-related topics to develop and create high-quality content in support of acquisition, retention, and engagement goals for CharterUP’s properties.
- Utilize data-driven insights and competitive analysis to identify new content opportunities.
- Collaborate with Content Marketing peers to proofread new content based on grammar, overall concept clarity, and alignment with company goals.
- Work with the in-house marketing team to ensure that content is engaging and consistent across all platforms.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience: 1 - 3 years of relevant work experience preferred, but aptitude is more important than experience
- Portfolio: A portfolio with past writing examples is strongly preferred
- Verbal and Written Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey ideas and messages.
- Research Skills: Ability to research unfamiliar topics and create articles that demonstrate expertise on the subject.
- Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail to ensure accuracy in content creation and editing.
- Graphic Skills: Ability create and edit graphics is a plus, but not required
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with HTML and basic understanding of SEO is a plus
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in English, writing, marketing or related field.
Compensation:
$50,000 - $50,000 USD
