About the Role
Title: Videographer (Shooter/Editor)
Reports to: Vice President of Brand
Location: Austin, TX (Travel Required)
CharterUP is looking for a Videographer (Shooter/Editor) to join our growing Austin-based team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for creating high-quality video content that captures our brand, products, and customer stories across various platforms. You’ll manage the full video production process—from shooting to editing—while delivering a high volume of content with quick turnaround times. This is a fast-paced role requiring creativity, efficiency, and adaptability.If you thrive in an energetic, high-growth environment and love storytelling through video, we want to hear from you!
What You'll Do:
- Own the video production process from pre-production to post-production, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
- Shoot a variety of content, including promotional materials, social media videos, interviews, event footage, and more.
- Edit videos efficiently in Adobe Premiere Pro, maintaining a fast-paced turnaround while ensuring professional production values.
- Develop and maintain a consistent visual style and brand voice across all video content.
- Work closely with marketing, creative, and product teams to bring ideas to life through compelling video storytelling.
- Manage and organize raw footage, assets, and project files for streamlined editing workflows.
- Travel as needed for on-location shoots and event coverage.
What You'll Bring:
- 1-2 years of professional videography experience with a strong portfolio showcasing diverse projects.
- Expertise in Adobe Premiere Pro (After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator are a plus!).
- Strong understanding of video production, including lighting, camera operation, and sound recording.
- Experience shooting with Sony Mirrorless Cameras and proficiency in handling different lenses and settings.
- Ability to balance multiple projects simultaneously, meeting tight deadlines without compromising quality.
- Self-motivated, highly organized, and detail-oriented, with the ability to work independently.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills, taking feedback and applying it effectively.
- Ability to lift and carry camera equipment (up to 30 lbs).
- Willingness to travel for shoots, both locally and out-of-state, as needed

Compensation:
$50,000 - $70,000 USD
